This hotel was more than we expected. Very nice location (100m from Fira) with safe parking, pool and wonderful balcony. Room is bright and comfortable. Staff is amazing. They gave us a recomendation for a top restaurant. This hotel is more 4* than 3* and excellente value for money.

Very good staff and friendly, was so so clean every single day in our room.

We checked in late ,manager covering but he keeps on cancelling our call ang turned his phone off. I have sent a message 3 days prior to arrange a pick up from the airport and the property answered it is sorted but alas!!! No pick up turned up!!!. We have to find ourselves a taxi.

Cons: - Right on a main road so can be noisy - no soundproofing so can hear every footstep and conversation - be mindful of low ceiling in maisonette room (not a bother, though the position of the table with TV makes it quite hard to get around the bed especially with the low railing).

Pros: - extremely clean - friendly and helpful receptionists - very nice cleaner who did lovely towel decorations - beautiful views of sunrise, and lots of morning sun on the balcony - plenty of sun loungers and other seating areas, pool area is very nice - great location with a short uphill walk to the main area of Fira

Recently renovated hotel in the perfect location. A couple of minutes walk from the main square and the Caldera, 5 minutes from the airport and with direct access to the main road to the North (Oia) and the South of the island. The rooms are clean, with spacious bathrooms and pool view. The hotel’s staff and Manolis, the owner and 2nd generation hotelier, will do their best to cover all your needs. Golden star will be our first choice the next time in Santorini!

I probably should have done more research, I thought it was closer to the santorini views. But was only a short walk away.

Nice hotel that was good value for money, doesn't have the typical santorini views that people are maybe looking for, but, it's only a few minutes walk from them and it seems you get a better pool area than most because it's just off the main part. Very walkable to main part of fora for the views.

It would be nice to have breakfast included.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the property is just minutes away from the centre. Rooms were cleaned daily.

Airco was filthy and placed such that it blows in your face. Gave me a sore throat.

Nice spacious room, good bed, friendly staff and just a small walk to the center.

Nothing was bad - only change would be for there to be a jug in the room. Coffee maker and pods are supplied but for tea drinkers a jug would be good

Hotel is clean, comfortable and well located for everything. Having onsite parking is also a bonus. The pool is really nice and sparkling. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room adjoining the pool and it was not noisy at all and so nice to easily wander out to the pool.

Room could have been a little bigger, but no complaints for the price and it was plenty enough for our three night stay.

Great location, five minute walk from the main shops/bars/restaurants on the caldera. Room was newly rennervated, clean and comfy. Pool was a lovely addition to cool down in the heat. Photos are accurate to the recent reinnervations. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Fira without the caldera prices.

The hotel is newly renovated. Everything is clean and up to date. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help and answer your questions. It is a 5 minute walk up the hill to the main food square in Fira. There’s also a small convenience store nearby. We loved our stay and we will be recommending it to our friends and family who travel to Santorini.

The bathroom door was not fitted to the door properly so there was not much privacy. Some of the fittings in the room were unfinished and looked messy e.g. wires sticking out.

Lovely and decent sized pool with jacuzzi and lots of sunbeds and seating. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. The hotel and room were incredibly clean, the towels and bedding were changed every day. Great location, the hotel was a ten minute walk to the bus station and central Fira.

This hotel is great value for money. Away from the overrated caldera hotels yet central and 10 mins walk to the caldera and shops/restaurants. The room I stayed in looks new and spotless. Modern amenities and the bed was very comfortable. Room really quiet at night which was a welcome change (in many ways) from my previous stay on the caldera side. The pool was an added bonus and never crowded. I wish I had booked a longer stay here. To top it all the front desk staff are so professional and went above and beyond! Thank you so much!

Paying for the coffee capsule

We arrived by car and the hotel provided on-site parking. We found the hotel close to the center of Thira and walked there every day. Clean and organized hotel. Nice swimming pool
