Breakfast does not vary much and the coffee can be improved. Nevertheless, it’s definitely worthy going there! Recommended!

-The hotel is right next to a fairly busy road which is noisy at rimes and did disturb the peace not the hotels fault and nothing they can do about it but something to be aware of.

Sea views from room. Comfortable large room - comfy bed, fridge, tea/coffee making, great air con., Good (but small) shower.. Breakfast - enough choice to get you going, all tasty. Evening meals were amazing - best prawns I have ever had. Swimming pool quiet and clean and nice that you can walk across the road to swim in the sea, lovely views. Good WiFi. Parking - great for our hire car and we explored the area. Walking distance to a number of tavernas, all good, but we found we had to book to ensure a table. Very quiet and calm hotel. Lovely family run business - all staff very hardworking friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Nothing that I write would be enough to cover the feeling that my girlfriend and I have had whole staying in Golden Sunset. Both of us have pretty high expectations even though we don’t complain and we simple leave the hotels that we don’t like and never come back. Andreas and Theodoros and their family have met every single expectation that we have had for our vacation, and we honestly regret that we didn’t spend the whole 7 days in this hotel while we were in Corfu. I will try to be concise and simply explain why you should stay here. Location, although seems far from the Old Town of Corfu, is more than convenient. Boukari is quiet place where you can relax your mind, body and soul. There are no sounds of loud cars and parties, so it this would make your sleep nice and tight. You can rent a car and reach anywhere around the island pretty easily. There is also plenty of parking spots, and you don’t need to worry about your car getting damaged. Check in was very smooth and efficient, and from the very first moment we saw that our stay here would be awesome. Room is very cute and cozy, there is plenty of space to leave your luggage and clothes. Bathroom seems new, and there is everything of hygiene products that you may need. Everything works and there was no any issues regarding tv, ac, and other appliances. And how about that balcony view, oh my God (check pictures for more). Food for the breakfast and in the restaurant is delicious, and service is fast and efficient. But, what I want to point out the most is the kindness, politeness, and professionalism of the owners and staff. I needed the iron as there was not the one in the room, and Andreas called me after a few minutes and said that he will borrow it from his mother and give it to me. I mean, this is what we call going an extra step in your hospitality. It was my girlfriend’s birthday, and Andreas made sure that there was a bottle of prosecco waiting for us when we come back from the beach.

I liked everything.

Very quiet and peaceful - no kids about ! Small family run. Lovely varied breakfast. Clean rooms. Lovely view over the sea and sunsets are amazing. 3 local restaurants all on the beach front - all just 5 mins walk. Always sunbeds available around swimming pool, and some days had pool to ourselves. No tourist shops around, which makes it a nicer environment. You need a car as its in a very quiet area. If you like peace and quiet, no kids or tourist shops, lovely local places to eat overlooking the sea, then stay here. Its an amazing place away from tourism.

In the western part of the island, all the beaches are quite small and full of stones and shells. So, for those who love to sunbathe by the pool, Golden Sunset is the place to be. The others, need to move a bit.

I liked the atmosphere. It's a family business and I met all generations there, from grandfather to grandson. Everyone is friendly, no matter what your problem is. You find everything in one place, from the pool to the restaurantand a general store. We like sandy beaches. So, we rented a car from Gand Car and drove across the island every day to the famous beaches located on the east side of Corfu. I must say that we paid 60€/day for the car and 20€ for petrol using the car for four days. It was very convenient for us.

Lovely family run hotel, fantastic people, food excellent, everywhere was spotlessly clean . Nice little beach opposite. It is pretty far from Corfu town and airport - 1 hour in a cab . Quiet relaxing spot for a holiday, gorgeous views

This hotel is superb, the room was classy, spotlessly clean with an amazing view from the balcony.The owners are helpful, welcoming and friendly, the pool area is excellent too, There are a good selection of local tavernas a short walk away and a little shop right next door, will definitely be back next year, thank you for an amazing holiday 😀

The weather could have been better on a couple of days but otherwise no complaints! There was nothing about our stay that we did not like.

The location was perfect, looking over the sea with a small beach immediately in front of the hotel. A lovely, quiet and peaceful holiday. Lots of interesting walks along the beach road and up into the hills behind with beautiful olive groves. The food was excellent and good value, with a good evening meal menu. Also some other interesting tavernas within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is nothing not to like there.

Excellent hotel and location. From my point of view it exceeds a normal 3 stars hotel. Sufficient choices for breakfast even for people with food restrictions (in addition, because I cannot consume normal milk, starting with second day they brought me soya milk). The pool is very nice and the room view magnific. The room is very clean, towels were changed every 2 days and the bed sheets every three days. Andreas, one of the hosts was extremely nice and helpful advising us where to go and helping us with all we needed, including renting a small boat for a day trip. The restaurant is the best from the area, with excellent food and nice staff (Kelly was very knowledgeable and she made us very good recommendations for wines). The hotel has also a supermarket where you can find anything you may need.

Very good location, beautiful views from our balcony. Our room had been recently renovated and was exceptionally clean and tidy. The breakfast was buffet style, well presented with plently of choice. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Andreas and his brother were lovely and helpful hosts. All rooms face the water, and you can watch both sunset and sunrise over the water, amazing! We were upgraded to a family room, which was really nice. The swimming pool is clean, nice and allows for sea view.

Exceptional. Strongly recommended this wonderful hotel. We had an amazing holiday at Golden Sunset, the hotel is so so much beautiful in reality than in the pictures, everything it is extremely clean ( we are traveling a lot and I can rate this hotel as Number 1 for the cleaning, quality of its staff and services). This is a family owned hotel and you can see their dedication and love for their work in every aspect. The hotel is in a quiet area with a nice small beach in front of it. It is very closed to a popular beach Moraitika in the next town, 10 minutes with scooter 😀 Opposite on the island from the hotel is another popular beach called Issos beach -20 minutes from the hotel with scooter. The hotel have a shop from where you can buy different things. The food it was delicious . Thank you Golden Sunset family for the wonderful holiday we had!

The location is gorgeus, our view from the balcony was breathtaking. This a family hotel and we can see the love they have for their business in all the details. The food at the hotel restaurant is superb!! Big portions! My favourite aspect is the small beach they have in front of the hotel, perfect for a swim watching the sunset. Thank you for everything 😊
