You had to be out of the hostel from 10 am to 3pm everyday for clearing the room for COVID 19 which was strange The air conditioning comes on itself so no way of changing the temperature it got very cold at night had to lay up with a hoodie

Rooms are big and open, but it gets too warm in the evening! The hostel close completely from 10-15 “for cleaning” and no one would even answer the door - so be careful with leaving bags and gaving to leave to the airport in this time range

Very reasonable price for absolutely enough comfort and hospitality, good equipped kitchen, old building but atmospheric and special, fantastic location in 50 metres from central district and 400 metres from ferry port, 200 metres from Venice harbour. Good and clean facilities, toilets, showers. Comfortable beds in spite it's very simple, lockers, opportunity to leave luggage before and after checkin and check out, good connection with staffs

Everything was good. No complaints about anything. Just a suggestion that rents can be slightly less for students (since they earn less)..

Showers are a bit tight but thats quite typical of Europe & Mediterranean guesthousres. Water is hot & good pressure.

Great location.. easy walks to port; town centre; buses..older building with character.very spacious rooms: good beds & a fridge in room plus balcony... is lots of areas to relax unlike many hostels. Irena is a friendly obliging & helpful host.

The treatment of the lady manager is weird. Even tried to charge me more for my luggage left in the entrance for some days while i was in the hospital for an emergency. That shows little humanity below their greed.

Very old type. Small beds. No lift. No hangers or place to hang clothes. Bathrooms and toilets are for common use if you prefer women’s and men’s separately. Kitchen and kitchen equipment needs cleaning and improvement.

Location is great. Very close to airport and 15-20 minutes to KTEL bus station, plus just near the castle. There are few restaurants, shops around and a market for water and some other basic stuff. Sheets and pillow cases are clean. The premises is generally clean enough.

Beds were uncomfortable. No barrier on top bunk and very long way to the floor. No curtains or privacy in dorm rooms.

Good value for money for what it is. Staff were very helpful and let us store our luggage there a few hours before check in. Some nice, classical interior design.

I think these depends on the guests that the hostel is going to have at the time because I was in a room with people that didn't really shower at all when they stayed at the hostel so their feet smelled really bad since it was summer ( hostess asked me if I wanted to change a room so I can get better sleep but since I was staying just one night I kindly declined). Low water pressure but I didn't mind at all

Shower and toilet vs beds ratio is low. Only 3 showers and 3 toilets for a hostel of 5 or 6 dorms x 6 beds each. Water pressure was low. Cleaning is not on a rota meaning bathrooms and toilets were only cleaned 1 per day which is not enough when hosting so many people. Food prep area was also not very clean however i think that's cause the guests just didn't care to upkeep it which is sad. AC is centrally controlled which is challenging as usually is on during the night, but not at all during the day (albeit the host said we can call her when we need it) would be nice to have a control per room. The host does everything herself which explains why the standard is not as expected, she needs to have a helping hand for the cleaning. Comparison with castle rock hostel in Edinburgh which was my last trip and hostel stay.

Comfortable beds, very nice host, location optimal, some free goods in the fridge from the host, free coffee and tea, spacious lockers, hot water, great for a short stop over a night or two.
