Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The place surprise me really the view from the balcony was amazing and werent advertised Valentina the receptionist was so kind and lovely The room spacious, the location great!! Definitely will be back there if ever visiting mykonos again Such good value for money

Location is perfect, it's just at the entrance of Mykonos town. Breakfast was tasty and generous allowing you to skip lunch if you want to cut the budget and don't look bloated ;P The room was massive and super comfortable, including: a working mini-fridge, wardrobe, tables, cupboards, etc. Free transfer to and from the airport made it hustle-free! All staff were nice and welcoming, every day =)

The bedroom curtains don’t block out much light so not the best for light sleepers.
The free port/airport transfers were unexpected but brilliant! The breakfasts were excellent too. The room was spacious and we loved the sea view balcony. The location is great - a 5-10 min walk to most places in Mykonos Town. The receptionist was really helpful when our ferry was cancelled and we needed to stay an extra night.

The property is lovely. Valentina the receptionist, is a lovely young lady who made us really welcome and went out of her to be super helpful. The break fast was excellent every day and the cleaning staff were through and kind.

Nothing was a great hotel.
Everything. Staff super friendly. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day. Perfect location close to the city centre and bus port but just hidden away so theirs no loud noises from clubs or foot traffic at night. I had a complimentary breakfast which was amazing and delicious and saved me so much money cause Mykonos ain’t cheap. Would stay again.

Our room was on the first floor, and we had a sea view, which was lovely as it was unexpected. The room was for 4, and was spacious and well equipped, with each room having a balcony. Location was ideal because it was just a few minutes walk into the centre, but was quiet at night. Lovely touch in that free transfer was included in the price from the airport, and then to the port on our departure date. Valentina was an excellent host and provided recommendations for beaches, bars and restaurants. Good choice at breakfast, which was a self-serve buffet.

Loved everything about our stay! The accomodation was perfect, comfortable bed, great aircon, clean room and super friendly staff that go above and beyond to assist. The location is an absolute winner, very close to main bus stop and Mykonos Town. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Mykonos!

the location, the way we were received and how well the host communicated with us. It was an amazing experience. Most of my friends were telling us how great was the location for pictures, the accommodations were second to none, everything was A+ excellent service.

Very close to the bus stop, very very clean. Perfect location, lots of walking distance locations. The breakfast was very tasty and I genuinely felt like the staff care about making your stay more accomodating.

The breakfast was very average. Music plays at the neighboring Bagatelle until 11 pm. But neither of these things bothered us enough to give it a lower rating. For breakfast, hop across the street to Cosmo for a very affordable, delicious breakfast and you won’t regret it!
Everything about the property was great. The rooms was MASSIVE - very unexpected from European rooms, the location is bang in the center of Chora, easy access to great restaurants and bars, stunning view from the room to wake up to and the front office lady, Valentina was absolutely lovely. They even arranged free airport pick up and drop offs for us. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Chora.
