We paid for a superior room but our room was not a refurbished one. The bathroom needs updating. The shower pressure was bad and temperature went from boiling to freezing.

Location was very good, near beach and restaurants. Nice pool. Good breakfast and all food was very nice and reasonably priced. Pool area was modern and nicely decorated.

We didnt use the hotel to its fullest, we love the beach & were meeting friends staying elsewhere. so we slept at the hotel, room was very comfortable & clean & the breakfast very good. Previous experience weve noticed that Greece isnt huge with breakfast choice. this really was very good. We went out early & came home late everyday so didnt have dinner or drinks

The gym (we trained there twice) could have received a little more attention. Most devices did not work (properly) and the area was not very clean! The 3rd bed in the room was a narrow wall-mounted sofa bed. Not very comfortable.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area, only a couple of minutes walking from the beach and bars/restaurants. Super friendly staff (especially Christina!). A delicious extensive breakfast buffet and tasty snacks & cocktails from the bar. Pleasant swimming pools.

Staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. Cristina gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner and it was the best restaurant we ate in for our entire 2 weeks. Nothing was too much trouble and Athena was also lovely and so helpful. Rooms were comfortable.

Breakfast is great! Employees assisting are friendly and warm. Didnt disappoint at all. Swimming pool is a good size. Room is a good size and gets clean everyday by lovely housekeeping staff. After asking a few times, they were generous to let us stay and pay a minimal amount to stay way past our check out time to rest before our midnight flight, this is despite their busy arrivals and we did appreciate it very much! Over all, Hermes hotel is a lovely family run hotel, close to the beach with a peaceful surrounding and relaxing athmosphere. I wouldnt think twice booking this again if I ever come back in Santorini.

Absolutely nothing - perfect!

This was an incredible place to stay. Everywhere was so relaxed and the staff were so accommodating and kind. The pool bar/restaurant and breakfast were fantastic, delicious food & drinks. Must try the frappe with ice cream! We checked out and spent 2 days on another part of the island, we returned to the area the day of our flight home as it’s near the airport. The staff very kindly let us use their pool showers and changing facilities and spend some time in their air conditioned lounge before our flight. We would highly recommend this gem of a hotel for your stay in Kamari.

First time in Greece and so it was a shock on the first day to learn that I couldn't flush the toilet paper after opening my bowels or emptying my bladder. This is all around santorini so not the hotels fault.

Breakfast with a view was a treat. It was delicious and offered a wide range of food to cater for all tastes from traditional Greek to English and continental. The staff were super friendly and nothing was ever a big ask, they take every request with a smile and go above and beyond. Rooms cleaned daily and as it was my birthday, a beautiful and surprise display was left by the staff for me. The environment was stunning with gorgeous views from the room to the view from the jacuzzi and the pool. The location is great, just less than 10mins from Kamari beach which has lots of restaurants and shops so we didn't need a car for this trip. The tours we arranged picked us up close to the hotel. There is a bus interchange not far away where if you wish you can get the bus to neighbouring villages. We had a great time and was sad to be leaving hermes.

Some of the pastries were a bit dry at breakfast, however we did tend to go a bit later . Coffee from the self-service machine was bad.

Beautiful and quiet location, got here if you want to relax by the pool or be close to the beach and beach restaurants! Definitely not a party vibe. Love the pool area , small but cosy! Good variety of food at breakfast buffet. Rooms were cozy with good aircon!

It is a little outdated, especially the bathroom, which still have curtains instead of glass boxes, but I guess everything else makes up for it. If you stay in the "main buildin” you can expect noises on the corridor since there is no soundproof doors (or walls).

Our second star and it was as good as the first time. Location is great (2 min from beach and main boulevard with shops and restaurants), friendly staff, really good breakfast. Peaceful and pool really clean.
