The distance to all parts of the island. You have to rent vehicles or pay quite a lot of money for transfer across the island. The public transport system is a joke. But that isn’t the hotel fault. It is thr only minus of the experience

There was sometimes a malodour that comes and goes close to the pool. Bathroom water is rather salty - a bit uncomfortable when washing teeth for example.

Hotel - beautiful room with a balcony! We stayed in the 2nd floor with a sea view which was great! Comfortable bed and pillows. The airport is close to the hotel so be prepared to hear some noise of planes taking off. The last planes are after midnight on most days. Although, I must say that we got used to it pretty quickly, so don’t let this change your mind :)) All hotel staff - welcoming, accommodating and super friendly! A big shout out to Maria, very funny :)) also receptionist very helpful, and housekeeping friendly again. Pool - stunning! Whoever designed the outdoor area did an amazing job! Beach - the hotel has its own private beach which is 2 min away by foot from the hotel. The beach itself is very calm and relaxing, however don’t expect a sandy beach ;) The island itself mostly offers pebble beaches and the sea floor is lined with rocks. If you have the opportunity to pack water shoes with you don’t hesitate even once as it can be quite challenging and not pleasant for your feet to get in the water (the rocks are sharp). Big towels are provided by the hotel, so no need to pack extra ones with you. Travel - to get to Fira (the capital city of Santorini) is about 25 min from the hotel. Bus stop is about 5 min walking distance from the hotel. We rented a quad bike from a company called Motto man Fira to explore the island - 100% recommend! Breakfast - very tasty but repetitive for 7 days stay. Weaker coffee to our liking. Dinner - chefs are skilled! We enjoyed all the food we had from the buffet, also it offered much more variety every evening compared to breakfast. Sometimes cold, but improved towards the end of stay. A la carte - expensive to our liking.

Noise from airport. Shame no rooms with sea view. As remote and no restaurants nearby felt prices of food and drinks were high. No shuttle service to nearest town (Kamari).

Pool and bar area was amazing. Private beach and junior suite was lovely. Bottle of fizz from hotel on our anniversary. Thoughtful touch.

There is a strange process around using the sunbeds around the pool - you have to pay to reserve them for the day, they don’t come for free. We tried a couple of times to find non-reserved sun-beds next to the pool, all of them were always reserved, so unless you pay extra, you won’t get a sunbed by the pool. Luckily there is the beach mentioned above, with the caveat around the rocks. There is noise from the planes taking off in the adjacent airport, but you get used to it after a while. Some additional vegetarian and especially vegan options at the restaurant would be great.

The staff at the pool bar, restaurant and the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There is a beach on the hotel property which is fantastic, just a note that one should wear sea-shoes when going into the sea since there are a lot of rocks underwater. The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. Easy to book taxis from and to the hotel and visit Ancient Thira, Mount Profitis Ilias and surroundings.

Didn’t like that there is no room service, and that dinner menu only starts at 7:30. Hard when you’ve got small children to schedule to go down for dinner after a big day. But besides that everything was good (:

A few minus points: - music way too load. It’s would great in a party resort but not in a family place and we heard most people complain about the noise - Breakfast is average, also it really improved during our stay with proper pastries (at the beginning it was cheap fake croissants, not nice) - The night manager who greeted us at 4am was like a robot and did not make us feel welcome at all. He told us the hotel was full and that we had to pay to get a lounger by the pool. He asked for between 20€ and 50€ per person and per day, depending on location of the beds. Luckily we didn’t do this as beds are actually free, you do need to be early to get one or wait until after lunch for places to free up. But there is another area nearby with plenty of good loungers. - One of our rooms was very plain and didn’t look like on any of the pictures. It felts like they gave us what was left but it was comfy and the staff did an amazing job of tidying up and cleaning every day

Beautiful complex, clean, well decorated (most rooms). Comfy beds and loungers. Restaurant reasonably priced for a hotel. Try the fruit salad which is amazing (basically a huge tray of freshly cut fruits to share between several people) Friendly staff (apart from night manager) Good location (apart from noise of the airport but really not so disturbing). It’s 25mins walk from Kamari or 5mins/10€ by taxi. Kamari is really a lovely villages with plenty of good restaurants and shops, not too crowded and not too overpriced, unlike Oia and Fira which we visited but found stressful and too touristy. The pool is very pleasant and the private beach is minutes away with comfy sun beds and plenty of fish to see in the sea.

You’ll need transport either to/from airport or to go in the nearest city (like Fira). There’s no restaurant near by, you’ll have to go with hotel’s restaurant which is very good quality by the way.

Very good, clean and beautiful. Close to the beach (few meters by walk). Staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a very nice pool.

We spent wonderful days in the hotel, everything is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the pool and the bar as well. The food is delicious, the waiters, cleaners and everyone working there are very kind. Katarina at the reception is a wonderful woman, very helpful in everything. I have a lot to thank her for. The taxi service is also excellent, we could call the hotel at any time and they were there for us within a few minutes. We loved being here, the noise of the planes never bothered us

Location, it's a bit far away from everything and is across the airport, so it is quite noisy.

Despite the hotel is next to the airport its not possible to walk there, they offered paid transfers. The shower was very small compared to the room
