the buffet hot food was not kept hot, the hot plates just kept dishes warm not hot hot plates and /or a microwaves for guest to 'hot up' may help what is needed to overhead heat lamps , heated servers and staff trained

In general I enjoyed my stay. It’s a dated hotel but very clean, the room view was nice. The staff is very kind, friendly especially Anna, very kind. Loved her, she made my day everyday at the dinner. 🫶🏽

- wi-fi - a bit outdated

The hotel is really a little outdated, but very well done. It rises very beautifully above the beach, the hotel building itself is very atmospheric, snow-white, with thick walls and picturesque arches. The main advantage is its own bay and location. The staff is pleasant, polite, but unhurried (all our requests were not fulfilled immediately, we had to remind. Probably it's typical for Greece generally). There were a few minor issues, for example they forgot to bring shampoo to our room few times, but this did not spoil our holiday).

The parking was a little tight since we were traveling with two minivans but we were able to make it work out. The water pressure in our bedroom toilet was a bit lacking, making it hard to flush down solid waste 😬 but I didn't hear that complaint from any of the other 4 rooms in our party. The hotel is slightly dated but the upkeep is so nice that you'd hardly notice. You can see they clearly take very good care of the property.

Awesome location with its own beach, a small village up the way with cheap food, we all loved the pool and beach, staff were all excellent, great view, great price, great breakfast and dinner buffets. Our whole crew of 16 people loved it so we decided to stay an extra night. Very clean, overall an excellent value. Rooms were much more spacious than we expected and with a great bed setup for the many people in our party. They even gave us an extra room that happened to be adjoining one of ours.

The staff were a super plus! Very nice beach restaurant and convenient access to the beach and rooms. Our room was spacious. But not super clean and quite old. The bathtub had hardly any light. Old windows that were hard to open. The kids area at the garden was deserted, dirty, and sad. The restaurant upstairs had a convenient play area though. Renovation of the hotel is long overdue. The swimming pool was not cleaned before the season started (it had yellow stains on the water edge level) and also had metal pieces not properly screwed in at the children's side. Some sun beds were old and semi broken. The dinner at the upstairs self service buffet was below average.

We had HB. There was variety of food, but not everything was delicious. The coffee is with bad taste. The beacon left in the breakfast was used for moussaka in the dinner. Although the main cooker is Italian, not everything was delicious. Three evenings I tried fish and it was disappointing. The meat from the barbeque was chewy. The geographic position of the hotel is from windy side, the see was almost every day with waves, hard to swim.

Nice view to the see, clean rooms, big swimming pool, fresh orange juice in the breakfast.

fabulous location, clean and comfortable with great character, lovely pool, plenty of sun bed and sunbathing areas, close to public transport, and other dining options within walking distance

Nothing could have been better

The room was quiet with a sea view. It had everything I needed and a proper key which was a lovely surprise.

A large percentage of the sun loungers are old, past there best and uncomfortable. There wasn't tea and coffee facilities in the room. The on site shop didn't sell much and prices on the High side. We walked to the nearest little supermarket (1.1k about 13 mins). The supermarket is small but had everything we needed, even a kettle for only €17. Overall I would say this hotel is a three star.

Staying in early September the hotels beach is nice and peaceful, although the beach is slender we had no problem finding a place to good spot to settle. Our balcony was one of the larger on a split level (room 303) with table and chairs plus two sun loungers. We found the beds comfortable and the shower worked well.

Swimming pool is large but not well maintained, stay away from buffet launch (buffet dinner slightly better, but still much worse than the beach restaurant), rooms should be renovated

Great view, large room with a wonderful terrace overseeing the gulf, very good food and service at the a-la-carte beach restaurant, well equipped hotel beach (no need to reserve, hotel guests only, free, possibility of water sports), good drinks at the bar, awesome public beach 3min away by car

Nothing to complain about. My stay has been very nice

The hotel has both rooms in the main building and villas. There is private beach, in a bay, very nice and clean, with sun umbrellas and beach beds free of charge. And a beach bar. You can walk about 15-20 mins to the village for restaurants and supermarkets. A bus stop is just at the entrance of the hotel (regional buses, to and Heraklion). The reception staff is very nice and eager to help with whatever you need.

A renovation is highly recommend.

Staff is perfect. Place is ideal for families with private beach.

Unfortunately the immediate coastline was suffering from waste plastic bags and particles washing in with the tide.To the hotels full credit a man in a purpose built boat with contraption was employed to remove as much of the floating waste as possible during the day.A sterling effort to keep the beach clean throughout the day was witnessed.

Perfect location,great view and the room,food,staff,pool all well above expectations. The selection of food for all meals were varied to meet all tastes and excellent presentation.

Nothing. Maybe room furniture and accessories, there you can find a point for an improvement. Sun beds by the pool and on the beach were often fully occupied.

Views from our room and from the main restaurant were amazing. We spent 3 nights there. We had a half board, breakfast and dinner offer was very good.

seems like the entire place stopped in time after 1992! it gives the entire resort a certain charm but it also means that everything is a little dated (rooms, bathrooms, corridors, restaurants…)
