How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewDreams apartments are comfortable, with great location - near the beach and restaurants, but still quiet and great for relaxation. There are enough parking spaces, free umbrellas for the beach and shared tables in the beautiful garden. You can reach the host easily, in case you need his help. We had a great holiday!

Verified reviewKatelios is a lovely little village on the sea between the mountains.Dream apartments is a lovely place near the beach..near the town and near a super bar with Nikos. The gardens are well kept and the rooms were clean and tidy. For a short stop and for a good price...👍
Here you definately need a car to travel and see great beaches not too far away ( our favorite Mounda....Fkk) ....Katelios beach in front of the hotel was not good... The rooms are clean but definately need renewing... A lot could be done to make this little jem more attractive.

Verified reviewThe location is ideal if you want to be close to the sea but not right in the village. It is very peaceful with a pretty and well tended garden to the side of it. The jasmine smells gorgeous in the warm evenings. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor with its own patio looking towards the sea and the garden. Sitting there at night you can hear owls (Skops owl) calling & frogs too! The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the kitchen had enough china, cutlery and glassware for two. Although there is a small hob there isn’t really enough space to cook much or utensils to do so apart from maybe a basic pasta. Very friendly staff/owners. Room was cleaned and linen/towels changed regularly. It is the second time I’ve visited Katelios and stayed at Dreams both times. Air conditioning worked really well. We really recommend the first Taverna, Albouro, on the beach, that you pass on the way to the village. Very nice owners, great home cooked food & quieter than the village tavernas. It is only a two minute walk from the garden gate to the sea and walking along the beach to your right the village of Kateleios is only a five minute walk, mostly flat. There you will find plenty of tavernas open all day, some with sunloungers and parasols. The sea is very shallow and you have to walk out really quite far for a good swim. Perfect for small children and anyone who struggles with a shelved beach. There are a couple of mini-markets in the village for basics and a larger store on the way out of Katelios near a great bakery which sells nice pastries, savouries and coffee.
For the price it was absolutely fine for a week long stay. The room is furnished sparsely but when you are going to be out almost all day you don’t need more. The only problem was the bathroom door didn’t close properly so if you wanted a bit more privacy I could see that would be an issue. Also the WiFi was very sporadic, but we didn’t go away to be online all the time.

Verified reviewLovely comfortabke apartment in very quiet position with Dreamcatcher taverna a few steps away and a shortish walk into Katelios.
Only cleaned once a week and bed sheets and towels changed once all week, the bin for toilet paper and waste bin we emptied ourselves in a bin behind the stairs, also no tea spoons provided and only small plates provided if you wanted to have lunch or have night in and dinner on the balcony, just a kettle and a 2 hot plates provided, it would've been nice to have a toaster but all in all we had a great time and the owner is very friendly.

Verified reviewLovely peaceful and scenic location, beautiful gardens. Hosts very welcoming and patient with me as I managed to lock myself out pretty instantly. Mesh on the French Windows and bathroom window. Dreamcatcher restaurant nearby.
Bed was a little hard, bins not cleared the entire time I was there and no cleaning done during my stay as far as I could see. Mesh damaged in bathroom window, allowing mosquito access. No draining board to dry cutlery/crockery and very limited work surfaces. Sun loungers were provided free of charge, as was the parasols, but you had to tote the parasol down to the beach and then install. I walked to the main beach instead where there are padded sunloungers and parasols already erected.

Verified reviewThe apartment was away from the main beach area and tavernas. It was still only a few minutes walk from the beach. This made it very quiet, which was what we wanted. Having said that, there is a taverna in the grounds of the apartments with exceptional customer reviews. So we only had to walk a few steps to eat out, and the reviews were right. The food, service and atmosphere there was fab! We did have to wait a while for someone to show us our room (we were shown a smaller room originally by the owner of the taverna, who is separate to the owner of the apartments), but once we explained we had booked a split level apartment someone working for the apartment owner came out and gave us the key to a suitable apartment. We had not been able to find a travel adapter before we arrived, and we were given one that a previous guest had left behind, so they were super helpful. The apartment we stopped in could have done with a tiny bit of upgrading and redecoration maybe, but it had all the basics we needed and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend for a budget traveller like we were.

Verified reviewThe studio is just a short walk down a track to the beach. Next door is a friendly taverna. There were some sunshades that we could borrow for the beach and on that part of the beach there are free loungers. The owner and cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating in terms of checkout and arrival.

It’s for 4 people so there should be 4 of everything. We had to move chairs in and out from kitchen to balcony if we wanted to sit together!

Verified reviewIt was so quiet! The apartment was spacious with everything we needed. Air conditioning and a lovely terrace were a bonus. The proximity to the beach down a country path with restaurants a short walk away made it the type of holiday that you would not need a car to have a relaxing break with the choice of great food on your doorstep.
it was perfect

Verified reviewA brilliant location right on the beach. A simple property with everything you need for a simple break away. A little walk on the beach front to the heart of the village where the bars and restaurants are.
As with most of Greece they lack tidy gardens.
