Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pool was closed (due to open on the 15th/04) but the hotel gave us an alternative so was okay. The single bed in the room was quite uncomfortable but otherwise everything was good!
Staff were so accommodating, Maria was particularly very helpful but everyone was so friendly! Rooms cleaned thoroughly daily and good selection of breakfast foods at the hotel. Rooms were also very modern and decorated nicely.

* for us it wad even good part.. however for those who doesn’t like to walk, the hotel is on the edge of the main touristic part and you have to walk 15 mnts to the center and another 10-15 mnts yo the port to ferries. * the hotel is not very silent. In crowded days you may hear voices from corridors or outside.
* a very nice cozy hotel 10-15 mnts walk from the city central square. * hotel is renovated and has modern rooms. * you will find all you need for your stay in the room (water boiler for coffee, minibar, ironing desk, slippers and etc.) * the breakfast is quite diversified and has not bad selection of food to eat

Hotel undergoing construction of an annexe building, so noisy with a bit of debris on balcony. However all will be finished for Easter - 5 May this year. Short-term inconvenience but check with reception when checking in.
Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

We were early season so some facilities were not available but we knew that.
We had a sea view suite. The room was large, the bed was comfortable. It was all very clean The staff were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was good. If we visit Kos again I would definitely stay here again.

The amenities provided were inadequate. The combination of shower gel and shampoo in one container on the wall was ineffective and impractical. Additionally, essential items like a shoe spoon were missing. We encountered cleanliness issues with the pillowcase, which, although promptly changed by the reception upon our call, was an unpleasant experience. Furthermore, we had a problem with the bathroom bin leaking. When we contacted the reception, they sent someone who, to our dismay, entered the room and bathroom with shoes on. He claimed to have fixed the issue but left without verifying, and unsurprisingly, the problem persisted. I ended up fixing it myself. Moreover, there was no complimentary water provided, which is generally expected, especially in a suite. Lastly, the shower's glass partition was too short, resulting in water splashing onto the floor. These issues combined significantly detracted from the quality of our stay.
The hotel has undergone renovation recently. We stayed in a suite which was nicely decorated and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit removed from the city center, it is still within a reasonable walking distance.

The staff were excellent, particularly the bar staff by the pool. They were so attentive and never kept us waiting for anything. Cleaning staff had the hotel spotless every day and facilities were great!

Only one staff was really really rude. The guy which is working in the bar. He should not work in this hotel. He dosent deserve to work that beautifull hotel

There was constant noise from Building work, if I had know this I wouldn’t have booked this hotel

The gym is extra charge, the hotel is in completely construction, the swimming pool is out of use, no where to park your car as on main busy street. The breakfast was the same every day with small selection
