We celebrated our 30 years of marriage. From the moment that our daughter booked for us the hotel, we got a great service and queek answer for any questaion. When we arrived, Monica at the front desk, was so nice and gave us the best welcome. She and husband gave us an upgraded room, they were so helpful and kindly. It was a great holiday. Thank you so much for the best service we ever had. Hope to visit soon. Best regards, Pnina and Chico from israel.

Breakfast could be better, not a huge amount of choice so was pretty sick of it after a week. Milk tasted very strange, not sure what it was, maybe goat?

Beautiful hotel, rooms all face the sea with a balcony. The decoration and finish of the rooms was perfect. It was very clean. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of steps but I saw that as good exercise and they will help with luggage etc. It is in a quiet location away from the town, but with a bus stop 5 mins away and only 15-20 min ride into town, buses every 15 mins. 5 minute walk to beach.

Lots of steps so would not be good for anyone with poor mobility.

Excellent breakfast. Lovely view from restaurant terrace. Many vegetables and fruit being grown in hotel grounds so food very fresh. Nice pool area.

The pool bar is fine for drinks/snacks during the day but is not really somewhere for a drink in the evening as there is no atmosphere. Same with bar in hotel - but there are bars in the vicinity, including one at the lovely Platanias restaurant owned by the hotel.

Fabulous staff - could not do enough for you. Very clean, good selection of choices at breakfast.

For a beautiful hotel like Magic it is necessary to own or to hire at least a small part of the beach, to arrange it with at least 10 beach umbrellas and chairs, or to have possibility for renting at this beach. Everywhere in Skiathos - this is the island policy - it rents a two-seat umbrella with 8 euros. Hotel beach towels can be used, beach umbrellas and beach accessories can be used, but it would be great to have at least the possibility of renting on the beach. Umbrellas bought and all accessories are useless when the wind blows. We also bought two umbrellas and left them for the other guests.

Is a location situated in the southwest part of the Skiathos island in Greece. It is about 7 km southwest of the main town on the island. Magic is a beautiful hotel with 3 buildings built on a hill with a wonderful view to the sea. It was excellent to climb the stairs after a dinner! Hotel is situated near bus station no. 16, on the public route to Koukounaries and the beach Agia Paraskevi is across the street. Hotel is indeed magic, you can really have a great time at the hotel room and the beach. Rooms are spacious, large and beautiful. Air conditioner works very well. You will be delighted by the charm of the room - blue in color as the sea and also the hotel's breakfast. For us, it was a pleasure to meet there Iulian who told us everything we need about Skiathous island. Also Monica advise us to go - in the first evening - to a restaurant with a good reputation, but was too far away and without greek cuisine and marine food. Neither the food nor the taxi route did not deserve it!The next morning we discovered a lot of good restaurants near us location. We liked-Platanios, Maistrali and The View restaurant where we take every breakfast.

the beach is crowed and no separate beach or umbrellas for the hotel guests. The hotel is located at a hillside location including many stairs. Not recommended for handicapped people. Skiathos town is 20 minutes by bus away.

Very comfortable beds - a real plus on the island!! - the owners and staff of Magic were just lovely. Genuine, multilingual, efficient and very friendly. The very best of hospitality. Also the taverna 'Calma' in Paraskevi village at the end of a lane was a real find. Paraskevi beach one of the best on the island.

The fact that if the princess hotel is fully booked, guests from the manic hotel can't use the sun beds even if at cost. But, if you have a car there are plenty of other beach spots to stay in, but this came somehow out of surprise that we will spected, for the rate, clear access to a quality beach 250 ft away as described

The hotel is beatiful, has a Greek style unlike the standard appearance once, very well maintained, pool is nice as well as music at the pool and pool bar, breakfast is nice and View both from where breakfast is served as well as from room is great. Staff is increadbly nice and helpful by all means - from breakfast (Julian and Bruno) to front desk, pool bar and cleaning staff - all are.

The hotel was very clean, modern and in a great location. The room was a decent size and had a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the sea. The hotel was only a couple of minutes walk to the nearest beach and had the choice of numerous restaurants nearby too. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away that had all the necessities and an ATM. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially Julian, who was the waiter both for breakfast in the morning and for dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening - he was incredible! You can take a local bus (every 20 minutes), into Skiathos town, which has plenty of touristy shops, bars, restaurants and boat trips etc from the port. The Artisan Bakery is a must!

Everything was fantastic! The only drawback is that there are a few steps from the main building to some rooms, something that cannot be change since the hotel is built on a hill. However this gives the advantage that ALL rooms have an excellent view to the sea!!!!

Amazing views, very friendly staff, good location. From the start of our holiday we were made to feel like part of the family, would stay there again and will be in the future. Very close to the beach and lots of places to eat. The hotel restaurant was outstanding and we had some of the best food we have tried on this holiday. There wasnt anything that was too much trouble to the point that the owner went out and got fish fingers for my little girl. There are way too many things to list that made our stay at the Magic Hotel. I would strongly recommend anyone to go and sample the delights for themselfs.

'Slow' single road on the island, missing walking path along the sea (or along road). Troulos beach. Generally higher prices Greece VS destinations like Turkey.

Nature, see, trees, beaches. Excellent hotel and especially staff. Excellent beaches (like Agia Eleni, Banana, Koukounaries...) with water sport possibilities and beach restaurants/bars. Excellent food.

The breakfast could've been a bit better. The eggs were very overcooked. Other than that, all good.

The room, the view, the bed and the bathroom (bigger than usual for Greek standards. There were also mosquito nets, which was great. The staff were lovely and genuine. We had a few nice chats with Monica. The pool looked very nice even though we didn't use it and the hotel is at a nice midway point between town and the beaches in the South of the island.

Loved the Magic Hotel - from the moment we arrived the staff were absolutely perfect, bringing our bags to our room and ensuring everything was the way we would like it to be - we stayed in a seaview room which was amazing, we could watch the sun setting out over the ocean. Breakfast every morning had a great variety with lots of fruit and yogurt, perfect for a Greek holiday. We also ate in the restaurant which was beautiful

breakfast was not of so good quality, location in proximity of the road but that is pretty normal on Skiathos, in comparison to what you get for money on Skopelos I find the value for money not so convincing.

Staff was great, pool very nice, room ok.

There was nothing we did not like and no negative feedback to give. If we have to mention something then the wasps on the veranda at breakfast were a little annoying but that's nature for you...

Hotel is beautiful, staff are lovely and very welcoming indeed. Food is excellent also with a wide variety, service very prompt and courteous The balcony views, the pool area and facilities are all super and the hotel location great for getting around.

The steps to our room by the end of the week. Although the view was amazing and we got fit. Wifi bit slow.

Lovely view, great staff and great food. Wide choice of breakfast, cereals pastries, freshfruit, yogurt, nuts cooked breakfast. Great location near beach, close to town and port, peaceful and relaxing. Great weather.

Minor gripes: The wi-fi in the room had poor reception and the pillow was a bit uncomfortable.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and had a great view. All in all a great experience.

Our room was like some insect farm... There where lots of ants of all sizes st the balcony of our room and in the room. Wasp and spider also make our company. Breakfest is very poor and very bad. Something like mix of english breakfest and italian sweet breakfet but bakery products where not taste at all. They make very bad omlets. Two times i took boiled egg and after pilling the smell was terrible... The point is that i didn't know what to give my 1 year son for breakfest.

Nice rooms, pleasant staff, i liked the pool, lot of fruits fof brekafest

The only disadvantage is that the hotel is facing the main road of the island which is quite noisy. This can be "cured" by closing the windows / balcony and switching on the air-conditioner, but when staying at the seaside I prefer fresh air. Even in the night the traffic passes by every 2-5 minutes. But despite that, overall impression was positive.

    - very clean, nice design of rooms - very comfortable bed - extremely helpful staff The location is pretty close to the sea - 5 minutes by foot. Agia Paraskevi is a very nice place with a sandy beach, very clear water and absolutely not crowded. We had a room with sea view, which was very picturesque. Breakfast was pretty standard, but it was ok.

Unhelpful staff members, bad breakfasts we only took breakfast twice whilst there. The view restaurant again very poor food.

Should not be rated as a four star hotel. Snack bar at pool side offers two choices Greek salad or toastie sandwich. Breakfast is very poor, lowest quality ingredients used, eg sliced bread no fresh bread , heavily diluted Apple juice, poor quality pastries and cheeses.

There was nothing 'not to like' !

The staff - Monica and all the staff were absolutely excellent nothing was too much trouble - couldn't have asked for a better service from all concerned. Breakfast was marvellous all tastes catered for in abundance. Location is superb, fantastic views, cooling breezes, quiet. Hotel very well maintained and very clean.
