Some of the room designs made it less comfortable/ functional than you would want in a small room. Lack of windows was the biggest issue. Choose a larger room if you can!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the village is lovely and had more locals than tourists so it was a great vibe.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful but didnt have the widest selection. The hotel pools are beautiful but quite small so think more for dipping into.

It was a really characterful room and very quiet. The hotel restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed two dinners there. A great location to drive to Knossos, Heraklion, and the wine region of Crete. The staff were helpful and welcoming

One small complaint : one waitress was surprisingly strict about not letting clients use the salt and pepper grinders at breakfast, which was very strange.

Everything was incredible in the hotel, from the looks to the overall service and the amenities. I highly recommend it.

The internet is very weak in the living room, stops every few minutes. Good for whatsup not for working with a laptop. In the upper floor there is no internet. The WIFI conection does'nt reach there. Because of that also the smart TV in both floors does'nt work....

The location is good for star trips. You have to have a car. Parking is free. One bedroom is big and cozy. The other is smal. In my opinion one bed should be removed and the room will be much better.... Now you cannot even open the cuppbord. The bathtube in the upper floor should have some handles to grip. Now it's easy to slip on the wet floor and break some bone. The breakfast is good and sufficient with typical Greece food.

Beautiful little villa. Our group decided the small breakfast at Manili Boutique was the best overall out of the 3 hotels we stayed during our vacation. Everything appeared home cooked, well thought out selection without over producing or waste. Staff at the bar were very pleasant and welcoming.

My shower was the only thing that was different from ours in Canada. The shower in the basement from our vîlla was very tiny. That's it :)

We stayed there for 4 days. Upon arrival we were absolutely happy with the beauty of this hotel. The decor is absolutely breathtaking. Niko, at the reception made our stay very special. We will never forget your hospitality xxx Breakfast was the best part of our stay I would say. Food was very good and fresh. The coffee was also very lovely. The only down side of the pool areas was that the small courtyard style means limited space around and only three full sized sun beds. So I don’t think this is the place for you if you only want to lay by the pool all day.

This is a gorgeous sprawling set of rooms around a village street on a hill above the main square. Whilst the hill from the parking area to the reception is steep, there is a gentle road to use down to the town centre and back. Our room was beautiful, the bedroom spacious and giving the appearance of having been carved from the rock. The bathroom too was a good size and there was a kitchen area with full size fridge, always useful on a hot holiday, plus a four plate hob and full oven. It is a short twenty minute journey from Heraklion airport and only 15 minutes from Knossos. The pools are small but very attractive and a great place to cool off. The bistro had a super menu , we ate there two evenings and for all of our breakfasts. All of the staff were simply lovely and they made a lovely fuss of me on my birthday. A really impressive and happy team.

We could hear our upstairs neighbours walking, but we did not mind. However, if you cannot sleep with noise, this might be an issue (or bring some ear plugs).

This place was AMAZING. The small town and luxurious vibe we were looking for. All the staff from reception to kitchen to cleaning was so nice and helpful. Especially Manos was kind and thoughtful. Nikos helped us arrange a car. It was more expensive than what we found online, but this car was delivered to us and we could leave it at our next hotel in Heraklion. We therefore paid for this service.

The room felt a bit cramped, there was nowhere to hang more than one towel, let alone swimwear (the hotel has a pool, so the odds are pretty good people will want to hang swimwear to dry, just saying.) The reception was a bit hidden, up a very steep slope, which wasn't ideal. Also, there's about three sunbeds at the pool, and the area itself is very small.

As many have pointed out, this place looks exactly like the photos. It's very slick and modern, but built into the small Village of Archanes in a way that almost hides the hotel. It's really cozy. The staff were great, the bistro is great, and Archanes itself is a lovely example of a Cretan mountain village.

The property is in a very cute and quiet location!! This place Is very dreamy! Everything was beautiful, including the room. The staff was also extremely nice and hospitable!!! They also had Parking which was a plus! I would recommend 100%!!!!
