There isn't much to do around the hotel itself apart from walk up and down the beach. You need to plan in some trips to other locations e.g. Chania (very beautiful) or the mountains or other beaches.

Fantastic location directly on the beachfront. Very clean and comfortable rooms. And an amazing breakfast that you can take outside looking directly out over the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is on a beautiful beach. It's really peaceful and a bus ride into Chania. Katerina and the team were so lovely. Lunch at the beach bar was brilliant and the restaurant across the road is also excellent. It has a real family feel to it. Would recommend to anyone - great value for money!

I can’t think of a thing.

It is a tasteful, well-designed boutique hotel right on a sandy beach. I could hear the sea from my room- such a wonderful way to fall asleep and wake up in the morning. Nespresso machine in the room and a great coffee set up for breakfast, not to mention the freshly squeezed orange juice. Chairs and umbrellas are free for guests and there is a small, peaceful sitting area to have breakfast and snacks. I was travelling solo this trip and felt 100% safe. The owner Katarina and her team of family members and staff were the absolute best. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. Try the family-owned restaurant, Cosmo, across the street- best Greek food I have had in many years. Definitely the best stay and meal I’ve had the whole trip.

We liked almost everything with small exceptions, these are the aspects that should be improved, în pur opinion: - the breakfast could be a bit more diversified; - the bartender should be able to prepare an aperol spritz; - the food menue was quite poor; - two mornings we didn't have running water. However, each time we let the staff now about these inconveniences they did their best to accomodate us as fast as possible. We liked the hotel a lot, and would gladly return but we do believe it was a bit too expensive for what it offered.

What we liked: - proximity to the beach; - very clean room and premises; - the products they used were of good quality: the butter was Lurpak, the coffee was nespresso, the bread was wholemeal and the list can go on; - quite an intimate atmosphere; - you can hear the sea from your room and in most rooms you can even see it from bed; - each room has a small, private terrace with a table and 2 chairs; - the breakfast was tasty, good and simple; - they lent us an umbrella to use for the remote beaches; - the staff offered us precious info and advice on traveling and visiting around; - the rooms were cleaned daily; - the staff was amazingly friendly, polite and helpful, especially Katerina.

There's nothing not to like

The property is perfect. If you are looking for a spot on the beach. It is set back off the busy street. All you hear are the sound of the waves. Family owned restaurant is part of the hotel across the street. So charming and delicious.

Really everything. Its a small family owned hotel, and you can feel every little thing was thought of. Very clean, beds were very comfortable, Katerina and staff were so nice and we got anything we asked for. When we went on an early trip before breakfast, they packed us something to go. When we said the toilet is a bit big for our daughter, they brought us a kids toilet seat (new, just bought for us..) Would love to return here.

Everything here was just amazing, from the room design to the cleanliness, the amazing view and location ( you were right on the beach) to the breakfast and wonderful Katerina and Andreas as hosts. fist trip with our 7 month old son, they went above and beyond to meet our needs and requests. make sure you check out their gift shop, the ceramics are just wonderful. This place will always stay in our hearts. Thank you

This boutique hotel on a private beach is a hidden gem! Picture-perfect setting, peace and quiet, plus a spotless and comfy place where we setup in Chania to explore the region. From the get-go, the staff couldn't help enough, staying late to welcome our family and make sure we had everything we needed after a delayed flight. Katerina was absolutely wonderful, with true hospitality, she sat with us and helped us with our local exploring plans to ensure we were equipped with all the local knowledge and avoiding all the tourist traps. Along with offering an umbrella to take with us in case the beaches were too busy, her knowledge and tips made for an even more amazing trip to this wonderful island. As if this wasn't enough, breakfast was enjoyed overlooking the private beach in a stunning setting and was all local produce homestyle cooked every day. Leaving was tough and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to Katerina and her team! We can't wait to come back.

Nothing, it was the perfect accommodation.

We were on vacation with our two kids and we had a one bedroom apartment which was perfect in size for our family and has also two bathrooms. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast was diverse and the food was really fresh and tasty. There are some home made specialities every day. The breakfast area is right near the beach. And the staff was just so friendly and helpful. The beach near is rather a small one, but very quiet, we had free sunbeds and beach towels from the hotel and it is a very friendly beach for kids, with fine sand and shallow water at the shore. The location is very good, in Stalos centre and right across the street there is a very good restaurant, Kosmas, with a truly nice garden and great food where we had dinner every evening.

Everything was wonderful! If we had to suggest anything it might be to have a larger variety of fruit at breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, next to the beach (first line), there is a beach shower, sunbeds. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace, and breakfast itself is great. Good wifi. Hosts were very welcoming!

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us. Everything was very clean and our apartment was very spacious. Being right on the beach was perfect and everything you need is nearby but it’s on the quieter bit of the strip so doesn’t feel as busy and is more laid back.
