- the bed was not very comfortable - housekeeping lady did not speak english, it was a bit problem - breakfast was huge dissapointment, good variety of food but poor quality - we had welcome drink in our room but I have no idea what was it, it was like lemon water in plastic cup

- pool view from our balcony - pool was very clean, nice area around the pool -pool bar opened until late night but very nice and quiet music - very friendly people - close to the beach

We had such a wonderful stay at the Marillia Village. First of all, the staff was so helpful/friendly. It's a family run hotel and it really showed in the staff's interactions with the guests. The pool area was so beautiful. It's surrounded by trees/flowers and the photos that you see of the pool area don't do it justice. It was so relaxing/peaceful to just chill by the pool. They have a nice bar area next to the pool where you can order lunch and we found ourselves frequently just ordering lunch there as the food was good/reasonably priced. We never had problems getting a sunbed. People would typically just lie out on the sunbeds for a couple of hours at a time and would take their towels away when they didn't use them so it all worked out well. We really liked the location of Marillia Village as it's not right next to Fira/Oia, but we had rented a car so it was close enough so that we could easily visit during the day or go there in the evening to watch the sunset/to eat out. The hotel is also minutes away from a beach where you can rent sunbeds during the day or eat out for lunch/dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking about staying there.

My only negative would be that there was no additional mirror outside of the bathroom!

The hotel was exactly what we pictured, the images I had seen online were really what it was like in person. All the staff were lovely and kind, we had a delicious breakfast every morning which had many different options from fresh fruit and pastries to bacon and eggs. The location of the hotel was perfect, less than a 5-minute walk to the beach where we found great restaurants and bars.

Very basic breakfast. Even at 8am all the dishes were already cold. Little amount of fruits and veg they put out at once. Awful coffee.

Our stay at Marillia was perfect, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to relax in a less touristy area of the island. The pool is beautiful and kept impeccably clean as is the rest of the hotel. I loved how green it was too and how well kept the gardens were. The breakfast varied daily, was always delicious and the bar menu was also great. Our stay was made even more perfect by how friendly and helpful all the staff were, especially Anastasia who worked behind the bar!

No sure about location, it seemed a long way from everything. Not the beach which was near but nothing else except restaurants on front many of which were really expensive for what they provided.

There was lots of choice for breakfast but on the first day the warm food was cold. It was better the second day.

Loooooved Marillia Village! Even if it was a 20-minute bus ride from Fira, it was exactly what we were looking for — quiet, clean, close to the beach and nice restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Really worth every penny staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marillia Village. The place is very cozy and beautiful. The staff in particular is kind and ready to take care of you. The location was very nice for a relaxing holiday, just walking distance from many beach bars at perivolos/perissa, bakery, supermarkets and the megalochory village. We rented a quad to move around and we could reach the main cities in about 20 to 40 minutes drive (from Fira, imerovigli and Oia). The breakfast was very very good, with fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, traditional Greek pastries, fresh bread, honey, homemade jams and many savoury dishes choices (pita Greek bread, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, feta cheese..). The rooms were tidy, clean and quiet. Plus the rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bathroom towels. Just perfection! We would really recommend this place and we would definitely love to come back here in the future.

There is nothing important. Perhaps access to the WiFi that does not have a very powerful repeater and was often disconnected.

Absolutely nothing to dislike - it was quiet but only a 3-5 minute walk (maximum) from lots of great bars/restaurants and of course the beach

I loved everything about this property, I wish we could have stayed longer!

The property was well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful! It is a close walk to a beautiful beach with a lot of restaurants on the water.

Some shutter didn’t close correctly so in the morning some light was in the room…but very minor problem.
