The photos on the web were of an area that is not used, the breakfast was very basic and so were the rooms.

The Hotel was central to Elesfina, with parking close by

Slightly shabby decor; quite cold in room; windows need attention as do curtains; I feel it could do with bit of modernisation & redecoration

    Good wifi

I understand the concept of non refundable booking but the hotel did not provide any relief once I identified in advance that my travel plans had changed due to Group travel changes. All the hotel staff offered was to allow credit for a future stay.

Taking the age of the property in account the property was clean. The location was not very good in reference to city points of interest.

The location ! Elefsina as a town is a bit of a dump ! It reminded me very much of Birkenhead ( on the Wirral, opposite Liverpool, UK). The town is surrounded by oil and petrol refineries, heavy engineering, and ship yards. The stoney beach is about 50 yards long, and with fabulous views of the oil storage tanks, and cargo ships. Hardy any taverna type restaurants. It is a working town, not a seaside holiday resort. There is an interesting historical site though. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the town, and there are no good restaurants or bars anywhere near. If anyone decides to book a room here, I would advise checking the town out on Google Earth first ( wish I had done that). To conclude, the hotel is fine as a base, ( no complaints about the hotel ) but the town is awful !

The hotel itself was used as a touring base. Got up, had breakfast ( self serve continental ) and then went out until early evening. From that stand point, the hotel served it's purpose. The room was comfortable, and clean. Balcony views are over a main street, facing other buildings, with the oil refinery in view.

There were wires and pipes sticking out of the walls and the rooms seemed old of unfinished. The bathroom was a grungy wet room.

The breakfast was delicious. The receptionist was so lovely and catering. The rooms were a decent size.

Nothing for that price - even if a fresh OJ at breakfast is always nicer than the lemonade type drink most hotels including this one serve

A hotel with history and local character, you get the feeling it's lovingly been maintained and brought forward into the passing decades. It has a feeling of old-fashioned trustworthy familiarity about it. The room was bright, the bathroom luxuriously huge, and the balcony also sizeable.

Breakfast is so-so. It's not bad but it could be a lot better.

ALL. Extremly poor hotel, specially for the high price payd, I suggest to choose hotel in Pireus and travel by bus or car. Bathroom that I never seen also in really poor countries. This is not a 2 star hotel but a ZERO STAR HOTEL. Also the pic of the external side of the hotel is of another one because this also outside is extremly poor, seems to be in third world place

    Nothing

Internet was hopeless in the rooms. My first impression was that this hotel used to be a busy 5 star. Now it feels a bit sad and unloved, with unused bar/reception areas, and brochures for the new Elefsina Hotel in every room.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with fresh bed linen daily and plenty of towels. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good town centre location, easy to find. Decent value for money.
