Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EstoniaTerrible coffee in dining room. I truly do not want instant coffee in 5-star hotel. We had to go to roadtrip to Corfu with our car to find coffee made from beans. We just need proper coffee. Sorry!
We had the best room with sea view and privet pool so we had great time. All included was also great as you could eat when you wanted. Lot of choises and the menu changed every day. Tried lot of different cocktails on pool bar. Sea was fun and you did not have to go miles to water for swimming. One day we had great waves , it was so fun to jump in the waives. Welcome gift ( local red wine) was nice surprise. Nice big beds, just perfect softness for me. We loved our stay so much.

SlovakiaGlasses for water, beer and vine in canteen were a litle bit dirty (with a lip prints). This was the think, which we recommend to approve. The private pools lights could be dimmed during the night, especially those with blue color, which resemble the daylight. Yes, it could be obscured with curtain, but if we want to allow air flowing across the room, the such ligh can make some discomfort. Most of the evening music events were more suitable for older guests.
The hotel Ibiscus was very nice, placed next to the sea and with a very friendly personal. They helped us with everythink. Our room was clean, big and with a beautiful seaview. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were excelent. Corfu beer was light and very fresh. There were many oportunities what to chose for lunches and dinners (various food, ice creams, cakes, fruits) . There were also oportunity to take part in class of joga. Some evenings were with music with a possibility of trying various drinks in bar. Whole stay in Ibiscus was very pleasant. No problem with parking.

United KingdomThe table tennis rackets need replacing. More travel alternatives into the main town would be a great addition as driving on the Island is a bit of a challenge.
The hotel was lovely, the food varied and there was many drink options. There was a decently equipped Gym and games for periods where we needed a break from the sun.

RomaniaThe first this that seemed weird was the presence of ants in the room. This was quickly mitigated by the staff. Then it seemed to me that if all guests wanted to go to the beach or pool, there wouldn't have been enough seats, let alone umbrellas. The place is secluded and quiet but this comes with a large distance from the capital. To go there you need to go 40 minutes by car, on a pretty winding road or take the local bus which conveniently stops at the hotel.
The room was comfortable with quite a large bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The quiet location, but this can have drawbacks as well. The food selection was rich, everything you could expect at an all-inclusive hotel. The private beach was convenient, only if you managed to secure an umbrella. Kids up to 4 yrs old inclusively allowed for free.

IrelandThe hotel should introduce reusable cups, there is way too much wastage with the plastic cups!! Cleaning staff did a good job but for some reason continued to only give us one big towel for showers when there were two of us. Ants were everywhere around the room (doesn’t bother us but may bother others).
Great time at the resort, the grounds and the staff were brilliant. The private beach was great and always nice for a swim. We used the shuttle bus to Roda multiple times which was a very nice to have.

United KingdomMore hooks and rails needed in bathroom for towels. Mirror needed above dressing table instead of TV. Hairdryer was difficult to access due to position of toilet. Bedside light switch hard to access when in bed (too far away). Later meal times in the evening, especially months of July and August as too hot to enjoy meal even though there is air conditioning in dining area. Pool area closed too early.
Room was amazing, few metres from beach. The meal at the Taverna. Room service was good with towels changed regularly.

United StatesFood definitely could have been better. The drinks were what you'd expect from an all-inclusive, though they didn't have a blender, so they couldn't make frozen drinks.
It's a small resort with a nice private beach. Most of the staff was very polite and friendly.

TurkeyThe only downside was that some guests were reserving sunbeds by leaving their towels overnight or very early in the morning, making it hard to find a spot later. Normally, the hotel should remove those towels, but they didn’t. Also, the alcoholic drinks were mostly local brands — it would be nice to have a wider selection of international options.
Great value for money. The hotel has a private beach, delicious open buffet meals, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere overall.

United KingdomWe only had two small issues with the room, first was that the water from the shower very easily spilled out into the rest of the bathroom, where there was another drain in the floor but there would be a small puddle left, leaving the floor quite slippery. The bathroom did however come with a rubber mat to place down. Secondly the WiFi did not work inside our room, we had connection on the balcony and everywhere else in the hotel but not inside our room, to be fair we didn't raise this to the hotel, so I cannot say if this issue was fixable or not.
Right of the bat we found the staff to be incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. Our suitcase was taken to our room for us while we had lunch and upon arriving to our room we were greeted with a complementary bottle of wine and large bottle of water (+ a new bottle of water in our room every day). Our room had a beautiful view over a small garden area and then the sea and Albanian mountains beyond. The room itself was very nice, very large bed and rainfall shower head, which we loved. We did struggle to work out how to use the Aircon but reception helped us out with that one. There was a wide selection of food available for each meal, some days were definitely better than others in terms of quality of food but generally speaking there was so much to choose from that we always found something we enjoyed. As a vegetarian I did have less to choose from but there was always a large salad bar, vegetarian soups with bread, lots of fruit and pastries and pizza fresh made in a little pizza oven (on occasion made with meat, but a veggie one made on request). There was also food each day at the pool bar, generally more handheld food like chips, burgers, sandwiches etc. The pool bar also had a list of cocktails which were served in plastic cups to have by the pool and beach. I'd also like to add how amazing the restaurant and bar staff were, every waitress waiter and bartender was super attentive and friendly. The pool itself was nice and clean, not very big but had lots of sun loungers around it. We didn't spend much time at the pool and instead mostly enjoyed the private beach attached to the hotel. The beach is not particularly large but has lots of loungers along it and some amazing views especially at sunset. The beach is sandy (good for bare feet) and the water is very shallow a long way out.

United KingdomI went to Ibiscus with my daughter to have a short break and celebrate my birthday. I never been there before and enjoyed the experience very much. The stuff is great, Maria at the reception was always very helpful; Kostas the manager at the restaurant anlways very welcoming and supportive; and Max at the SPA with his beautiful massages options, both me and my 8 years old daughter had a hot oil Indian massage and we loved it, Max was able to make us relax deeply and we appreciated his attentive care very much. I highly recommend him. Overall the experience at the resort was great, I liked how quiet it was despite being busy. Also it is not very big so everything was accessible very easily.

The food was high quality and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke several languages. Alcoholic beverages are local, but they are good. Beach is very accessible. The rooms were very clean and beds are comfortable. Entertainment was geared more towards older guests; it's not a resort for partying, more for chilling and relaxing. Overall an excellent resort.
