The position was perfect and the external space (balcone) was really a pleasure, it added a special atmosphere to our stay.

The only issue was the beds. one of the beds was a bit uncomfortable. A friend who stayed in a more expensive place also had the same issue so maybe just our age. The owners were wonderful and the view priceless

Tv reception is not great.

Owners are lovely friendly always available and the location is excellent. Right on the bay and the local bus spot which can take you all the way to airport and beaches.Also walking distance from main bus terminal and shops, square, restaurants and lovely view of the bay from the balcony.

Happy with what we had

We met the owners of the property who were very welcoming. The apartment had everything we needed including good air conditioning. The view from the apartment was stunning. Nice and quiet nights sleep ,everything we needed for a very pleasant break away .

I thought the kitchen area could be updated and utensils, accessories a little cleaner. Also we were told it would be cleaned, new towels and change of bedding once during our week stay which it was but we did think the toilet bin would have been emptied daily ?

Hotel is bit dated needs revamp Shower ultra small No kettle Need to check booking but sure asked for 2 single beds,was shown to room with double bed,(sharing with my nephew)paid extra 100 euro to upgrade to larger room with single beds.

The location was just what we wanted, by the harbour. Clean, tidy and plenty of room, with 2 balconies Close to the town centre. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

I've stayed in a few places in Argostoli, and this is definitely one of the loveliest spots. My room was room #1, and although it was on the side of the building, it still had a great view over the front (see photo) and was much quieter for being set back off the main road. Really lovely hosts who made me feel very welcome and looked after. I loved my room with not one but two balconies! Each with double doors, in the bedroom and living area. Everything was spotlessly clean, cooking facilities were just right for making simple meals, and the bathroom was great with a powerful shower and even a bath tub! I found the bed very comfortable - I slept really well every night I was there. I didn't really use the aircon because the through draft from the two sets of doors was lovely! I was able to work on the balcony when I needed to (WiFi worked fine), and that was a real treat – to be able to watch the ferry come and go, and to see the swallows playing as I sat at my laptop. As a lone traveller, I felt very safe here and will definitely return with my husband. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Mattress hard and lumpy. Not at all comfortable. One towel was dirty. No toiletries provided, only if left from previous guests. If you use more than 2 sheets of toilet paper then bring your own. Owner doesn’t like giving it. Guests have to take out their own toilet garbage.

Every morning - Very noisy people/staff early hours from door banging, chatting loudly in the corridors and multiple times people walking and down the stairs banging stuff. Someone coughing very loudly in the corridors early hours. Room only cleaned once during 8 day stay. No kitchen bin, only a little bathroom bin. Considering you should put toilet paper down the toilet the bin needed emptying regular, which we did after buying bags from the shop then going out to find bins by the harbour.

Toiletries are a far cry from the expected standard. In the bathroom we had about a quarter of super watered down hand soap together with half a soap bar. No other toiletries available. I’d rather not have found anything in there instead of a used soap bar! (Adequate toilet paper was provided.) The towels we were provided with have certainly seen better days. They were hard and substandard yet clean. We had a small bath rug when we got there and the towels were changed on the second day however no bath rug was then provided. A kitchen towel was provided half way through the stay for the kitchenette. The mattresses in the twin room are genuinely terrible. Unfortunately, it’s not really possible to get a good night’s sleep as a result of this. The air conditioning in the room is ancient but works. However, it keeps on turning off automatically when the balcony door is opened briefly and doesn’t come back on automatically - you need to turn it on again from the remote. This is probably fine if there’s one occupant in the room but somewhat annoying with more people occupying the room.

The location of this place is fantastic whether you’re with friends or travelling solo. The bus stop (although buses in Kefalonia aren’t very frequent!) is right outside the property, the view from the balcony is amazing and the ferry to Lixouri is just on your doorstep. The flat is within a 5 min walk to an excellent bakery for breakfast, a tour agency, the square, several supermarkets and pharmacies. There is a proper full size hairdryer in the room. There’s also a lift which makes the room easily accessible. The owners are an elderly couple who are around throughout the day. They kindly allowed me to leave my bag for half a day after checking out.
