We really enjoyed spending our vacation at nereids! It’s beautiful, with friendly staff and with a wonderful view of the city and harbor. It’s at the end of town so nice and quiet but still very close to centre and swimming.

The property is situated a 5 min walk from the port - off a beautiful cobbled street. A traditional Taverna is nearby - with excellent food (including a variety of specials like catch of the day), and local wines and beer - all at great prices. Plus, the Lemon Trees - our favourite spot for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening is only 4 mins walk. Property was spotless with a comfy bed and a beautiful view. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The water pressure and temperature in the shower wasn’t stable - sometimes mid shower and it took a while to adjust.

We were lucky to find this place still available! It’s just a 5-minute walk from the port and easy to reach—no stairs to climb to get there. The room was spacious, airy, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. No mosquitoes, and some nice bathroom amenities were provided. We even had bottled water waiting for us in the room. The staff was incredibly kind—he helped us carry our luggage upstairs without us even asking. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch. Each room has a small patio, and the view from our room was absolutely incredible. He also recommended a few restaurants nearby, and all of them were excellent. The closest beach, Kaminia, is about a 15-minute walk away. You can easily walk everywhere from the property. We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely come back again!

WiFi is slow but we didn’t really care - it was nice to switch off!

Beautiful property with lovely owners. It’s a short stroll (5-10 mins) from the port, so perfectly located and quiet but you’re never far from the port’s restaurants, shops and bars. Lovely views from the terrace, comfortable rooms with everything you need (fridge, kettle, hairdryer, air con) and the owners are really kind and helpful. Spotlessly clean too, with good shower/water pressure and cute resident cats! We felt it was very well priced.

The wifi was not very stable, especially in the room.

Very nice area, just about 10 min from the port but next to nature. Beautiful landscape around the hotel. The room was very nice and comfortable. Room service was on point. We loved the patio. The staff was very nice. For sure we would rebook if coming back to Hydra. I highly recommend.

This is a beautiful spot on my favorite Greek island. I loved how quiet it was. All I could hear were the birds, roosters, donkeys, goats and doves. The bed was cosy. There were so many stars at night! I look forward to returning soon as it has become my favorite place to stay.

The Nereids Guest House was absolutely lovely. Only 5-10 minutes walk from the port, located in a beautiful and peaceful environment, I had a lovely room with a superb sea/town view. The bed was very comfortable, the room beautiful and clean, and the bathroom clean too, with lots of hot water, and very functional. Lovely staff, and charming lady who made sure the room was clean everyday. Sunny terraces too with chairs/tables/deck chairs. I loved Hydra…so peaceful…no cars…lovely walks..and beautiful views and scenery.

It has been a wonderful stay in Hydra, which is a lovely island and the Nereid's Guesthouse was beautiful. The Guesthouse suits perfectly into the traditional landscape of Hydra.
