Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NorwayThe hotel does not have a lobby to be used when the temperature is very high and low. We did not experience this temperature as in June, the climate is quite mild.
All the facilities in the hotel were up and running, at its best quality. The place is the best hotel one can get in Spetses. The gardens were all well trimmed and the rooms were clean.

AustraliaThe restaurant is leased out to high end Italian for dinner, and while the food was good, the service was wanting and it was very expensive compared to other restaurants on the island.
This is a lovely establishment with warm and helpful staff. Good location 5 minutes walk to town centre with its cafés and restaurants, and between 2 beaches. You can swim in the sea directly outside the residences of you wish. The breakfast is excellent with multiple tempting choices. Fresh juice and tea or coffee served at your table by the most amenable and kind staff. The pool is quite spectacular. It was never crowded during our summer stay. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

South AfricaThe shower-in-bath is always a compromise, but doable. Bathroom ventilation somewhat compromised - not an issue during the summer.
Fantastic location on the sea front, walking distance from the ferry terminal. Spacious units with handy kitchenette and decently sized fridge - super if you have kids that suddenly go hungry. The pool is fantastic for kids and adults (separated). Breakfasts were idyllic, outside with a view of the sea, great beroert and the best yogurt! I would easily say it’s the best destination to stay in Spetses. Daily cleaning, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

United States of AmericaThe provisions in the kitchen of the maisonette were a bit sparse, so we didn't use it much. Not a big deal as breakfast is at the hotel, and lunch and dinner were at beach and in town.
The staff at Nissia are outstanding. - universally helpful, friendly, and courteous. The setting couldn't be better, directly on the water in the Kounoupitsa side of town (quieter side), an easy walk to the new harbor with restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Within 3 minutes walk of the hotel there is a bike/quad bike rental, a bakery, an ice cream/sweet shop, a water taxi stop and a restaurant/bar, all on the seaside. The walk to Kaiki beach is about 15 minutes, or you can easily take a carriage or mototaxi. The Nissia is about a 10 minute walk from the Athens ferry, or if you are coming from the Kosta dock in Porto Heli you can ask the water taxi to drop you at Kounoupitsa, which is a two minute walk. The hotel has an excellent, deep pool and a poolside bar that serves food all day from the kitchen. The included breakfast is excellent, overlooking the sea from the front of the hotel. The rooms of the maisonette had high quality air conditioners that worked well, and the bathrooms were good. The island of Spetses has everything you want from a holiday - activities, tranquility, outrageous food, shopping, people watching, and loads of beautiful people. COVID testing: There is a clinic in the main commercial part of town that does same day PCR testing for around 100 euros or so. This is helpful for departing via Athens, will save you having to spend a day in Athens.
