Amazing view of the Caldera. Fabulous breakfast. Traditional-style room with modern comforts. The staff were extremely polite, pleasant and helpful all the time. And the many steps to go up and down make for a great workout :) (almost any Caldera-view hotel stay inadvertently involves some steps)

Stunning hotel, built into the cliff. We were surprised with an upgraded room, with private jacuzzi. Had breakfast on balcony every day. Room was stunning. Great location, walking distance to Fora and Firostefani

We struggled to get fresh pool towels and a slight irritation was the cleaners phone constantly ringing whilst she was cleaning the rooms. More bins around the hotel are definitely needed. As with most of the small hotels overlooking the Caldera some rooms didn’t have the benefit of a lot of privacy on the balcony areas.

Location and rooms. Our accommodation was arguably the best at the hotel. We booked the pool suite that was spacious and ideal for 4 people although it can accommodate 6. And an additional room with a great sun balcony providing an amazing view! The hotel staff were very helpful.

The door between my room and the bedroom was only 1.70 high as original old cave. Being 1,80 it was just out of my line of sight and I knocked my head so hard a couple of time not only had a big bump, headache, but also scars to take home with me. I suggested them to put some foam over the cross beam, just in case, as as much as I tried it could not always think of it and it was right in my dead angle view.

The staff is amazing & made me feel at home. The view is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable.

Be prepared for stairs, but limited space and pool capacity. The water was not completely desalinated. Worn standard on pools and in-room tubs. Rooms are made for short people. Bring protective head gear if your above 175

Everything was amazing at this hotel. From the moment we checked in till the evening of our departure, we had an amazing time enjoying the views, food, comfort, and the romantic atmosphere the hotel had to offer. Would highly recommend staying at the Suite, which gives access to a lovely terrace and private sun loungers. The Hotel Spa is also a fabulous facility. Above all, the hotel staff were so incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with. We couldn't have been happier with our stay thanks to everyone at the hotel.

The bathroom mat could have been larger, the tile floor did get slippery but really does that matter when you are On The Rocks!

The room was beautiful with a fabulous view and entirely private. Delivered breakfast was a special treat with the most fantastic staff always ready to assist. Easy to get to additional sites in Santorini via walking, car service, or Bus.

The weather let us down the 1st 2 days which is no fault of the hotel, however the hotels are not made for poor weather conditions. On a cold day/night if u want to have a cozy drink at the hotel bar .. it’s a bar its an open place (so it’s cold) the only alternative is the bedroom!

The only small complaint I’d make is that the hot tub in the room did make it very humid and everything was a bit damp. That’s more a design thing than anything! The hot tub was lovely however and we did enjoy using it

Imerovigli is a lovely location in Santorini and I’d highly recommend stay at On the Rocks. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served promptly every day and was very delicious! The views of the Caldera from our room balcony was absolutely stunning.

The room where we have been upgraded was bigger but without privacy. The terrace was shared with another room and also with a door connecting to the storage room used by the staff. For this reason we had a lot of passage all the time on the terrace. Furthermore, there wasn't the possibility to leave a message on the door to be not disturb. No paper message, only a button on the door which was flashing a red light but clearly the staff was not looking because during the shower I have been disturbed 3 times by 3 different members of the staff. Another small thing, the shower was very low. It was OK for me, but my boyfriend couldn't stand under the showerheads.

We have been upgraded to a bigger room. The view was amazing. A good mention to the receptionist who made our check in and check out, he was very kind.
