Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI didnt like that we couldn't book a la carte many just because we didn't stay a week. Which this option was changed
Its a beautiful resort. I loved the gardens and our suite with jacuzzi. It was so spacious and views were amazing. Food was also really nice which i didnt expect after reading some of reviews before arriving. But guess some people are just miserable. I read people complain about lack of choices and truly cant understand why! There is so much to choose from and literally impossible not to find something you like. Restaurants had some stunning views of the sea which was great too. And the staff were really lovely. So helpful with everything we asked for. Definitely 5star service

UkraineYoga sessions are available three times a week with advance registration, though it would be even nicer if they were offered more frequently. The Secret Garden, where the classes take place, is a beautiful spot, but it was closed outside of yoga hours, which felt like a missed opportunity to enjoy this peaceful area. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, though at times the spaces felt a little limited for the number of guests — for example, the live music on the main terrace or the acrobatic show by the pool.
The hotel is conveniently located within easy reach of Heraklion airport. Its spacious grounds offer plenty of paths for leisurely walks, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food was both delicious and varied, with options to suit different tastes. The private beach is cozy yet generously sized, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

United KingdomThe pool area near the beach was dirty, full of mud and rubbish, the main pool was clean. The wooden stairs next to that swimming pool were broken, and a piece of wood pierced my toenail, which was very painful. The lifeguard had no first aid supplies, so we had to remove it ourselves. No warning signs were placed, nor was the stair repaired for guest safety. Activities for kids were disappointing, I expected fun games and competitions, but there was only aqua aerobics, which was quite boring.
Staffs were amazing, friendly and helpful.

IsraelBreakfast open at 7:30 and dinner at 18:30 which were both late for our small children. Also there are only a few vegetarian options for food.
Location was great- very beautiful. Great for families with many pools and water slides. easy walk to the beach. Bars for the parents were fun.

United KingdomMany guests put towels on the sunbeds very early in the morning, which made it harder to find one later in the day. Our room key often stopped working if it was too close to a phone, which was frustrating. The signs around the resort could be clearer, although exploring became an adventure for the kids. The pool bar for coffee didn’t open until 11am, and the pools only from 10am – not ideal for families with early-rising children. Overall though, it was an amazing stay.
The location was stunning – calm, pretty, and surrounded by beautiful grounds full of plants and fruit trees. The food was excellent with lots of choice, and the drinks were great too. It was a really good all-inclusive. The resort is close to the little town, and there were plenty of fun activities to do. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were always polite and friendly.

UkraineOur recent 4-night stay at Out Of The Blue Resort & Spa in Agia Pelagia was simply exceptional. From the very first moment, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service reminded us why we keep returning to this wonderful resort year after year. We are truly grateful to the entire hotel team, especially the reception staff and Tetiana from Guest Relations, for their warm hospitality and professionalism. Their care and dedication made our holiday smooth, relaxing, and filled with comfort. As loyal guests, we were pleasantly surprised when the hotel generously upgraded our room category free of charge, adding an extra touch of luxury to our experience. This thoughtful gesture turned our stay into an unforgettable escape. The resort itself is a jewel on the shores of Agia Pelagia Bay - a picturesque destination with crystal-clear waters, breathtaking views, and a serene ambience that immediately puts you at ease. Combined with world-class facilities and impeccable service, Out Of The Blue Resort & Spa once again proved to be the perfect place for an idyllic holiday. We cannot recommend this resort highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit.

GermanyIt would have been better if you Amusement park for children would have been more clean (in terms of toys) and AC would work. My daughter was playing there once but she was sweating, we could have used that couple of times if AC would have worked. Also, the public bus frequency is less, would have been better to explore also outside places more frequently.
It was a great experience overall, as we also got the room upgrade and the guest relations team also arrange a complimentary cake for my wife's birthday. Staff was also friendly everywhere.

GreecePrivate beach probably not suitable for very young kids (up to 4-5 years old who can’t swim). Facilities/rooms a bit tired.
Really excellent staff, kind and helpful. Very good variety in breakfast and lunch/dinner every day. Most of the options offered are tasty.

United StatesIt was not a dealbreaker for us, but this is something we agree on with previous reviewers: the grounds are beautiful, but time to time there are things that do not work e.g. an entire day of not being able to use the pool. Solution: go to the beach. Both the public and private beach is at short walking distance. While the food is varied and tastes good, the drinks from the dispenser (all juices) are of very low quality. I would recommend to drink water or tea instead (they also have some bottled options). Many reviewers mention that you have to book restaurants way in advance. This is true. Also there is one restaurant that you can not book unless you stay 7+ days. My husband tried to find one on or off grounds since it was my 40th birthday but staff at the front desk was not very helpful, just told him to look online.
We had a very pleasant surprise on the day of our arrival since we were upgraded to a larger, two bedroom suite with a large terrace and jacuzzi. The suite was clean and comfortable. While several comments mention that rooms are outdated, I actually did not mind that since it has that elegant vibe with the black and white tile floors, the older but very elegant decor. The views were very pretty as well. The grounds are nice. Food for all inclusive guests was varied and tasted really good. The desserts were very similar in taste and texture, but you have a variety of fruits as well to pick from and unlimited ice cream. Also, if you have kids, there are a lot of fun activities as well as a playground for them. Last but not least we loved that there are photographers on sight who offer their services. We took a 30 min. family photoshoot with a very professional photographer who took such great pictures that we ended up purchasing the entire package of close to 300 pictures.

IsraelWe have no words to describe how amazing our vacation at the hotel was. The room was clean and spacious, the beach was perfect, the food was very tasty- but in the end, what stayed with us the most were the people, who made our holiday truly unforgettable. The wonderful restaurant staff, NIkos at the reception who responded to every request, heleni and Vasilis from the bar who were simply lovely, always smiling and incredibly attentive. And a special thanks to George- the heart of the place, with a big smile and a huge soul, who made us feel at home.

SerbiaI didn't like the fact that the hotel was extremely crowded, and that in the line for dinner is extremely long... I don't think something like that should happen in a 5-star hotel.
The location is excellent. The nature and the hotel's overall ambiance are beautiful, the beach is lovely, and the sea is fantastic. Breakfast was okay, lunch as well, and dinner was mostly very nice, with a wide variety of options.

SerbiaBad side of the hotel was a big crowd for dinner. People were waiting outside of the restaurant for 15-30 minutes for dinner. Restoran has inside space and terrasse where guests can eat. it was not clear why we have to wait outside of restoran if inside space of restoran was almost empty. I think that is not accepteble for 5* hotel. regarding the beach - If you want to take umbrella and sunbed you have to go early in the morning to put you towels. If you come after 9 you would not find the sunbed and umbrella.
Hotel is located in beautiful botanic garden. We had a bungalow, surround with a lot of trees. The cleaning lady, every day clean the room and change towels and sheets. On the beach was bar, were you can take drink, coffee sendvic, cookies. The water was beautiful, clean, sunbed and umbrella on the beach. Food was great, meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, salad, fruit, dessert, all kind of drink, wine, juice, soda....
