Nothing. Everything was great!

This is a cozy, beautiful, small stone house on two stories. The hosts were gracious and not only provided everything we might have needed but also wonderful treats every couple of days. We especially liked the several terraces, which provided wonderful, private spaces to sit and gaze at the village and mountains.

Traditional stone house with kitchen, dining table, three bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own balcony. Quiet town in the hills. An excellent Taverna only 50 metres away. Our hosts were attentive and hospitable.

The residence is a well renovated traditional house in a small but lively village, Vafes. It is ideal for large families and groups and has three bathrooms. Mr Manolis and his wife were very friendly and hospitable and shared with us many useful information about our stay in the region.

a lovely house built of stone and wood. The owner of the place and his wife are extremely kind, took care of everything, and even treated us to a light breakfast. The house is very special, clean and well kept. Suitable for a family with children. Highly recommended

A peak stay in Crete thanks to the lovely hospitality, serene location and charming 2 story stone house with great sunset view from balcony terrace.. Delightful personal welcome with village history, homemade raki, and delicious cake. Highly recommend.

The owners are helpful, hospitable and very nice people. They became a little bit family in the end. The house is made of stone and beautiful, and has everything you may need.

The place you can truly rest, Host most kind we've ever met, the house even more comfortable than pictures, 50 meters to local traditional restaurant as well as handmade gifts, beds, bedrooms, bathrooms comfortable and clean, kitchen equiped as needed, all the more that you can afford divine greek cuisine at decent price, you dont have to cook, try local specialities. Not enough cats ;)

Mr. Manolis was very hospitable, he made available to us a larger apartment than we booked. Every now and then he made sure we had everything we needed. Vafes is a very good base to explore the entire western part of the island (provided you have a rental car). There are plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby Vrises. Vafes itself is a very quiet village where you can relax after sightseeing.

Beautiful house, each room has it's own bathroom. One of the rooms has also a terrace from which you can watch sunrise. We were welcomed by the dearest hosts, also got a recommendation about the Inn near by which we also liked a lot. Homemade sweets were waiting for us at the kitchen table, as well as traditional Raki. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you a lot for everything! House is situated in a small village that already offers a lot, but also main road isn't far away so the western and northern parts of the island are still easily reachable.

Very nice old style house in a cosy old village. Traditional greek interior, but here you will find everything you need. Very nice host, and lots of nice surprises :)

The lovely host greeted us promptly even though we were a little late arriving in town. The property is off the beaten path so you must meet host at nearby store- very easy. The stone houses were magical!

Lovely spacious flat in a traditional house. We were able to cook our food here and enjoyed eating it upstairs on the terrace covered by grape vines. Manolis and Eva are truly hospitable and happy to answer questions. Easy parking too.

Wonderful place in the middle of a very friendly little village. Rooms stay nice and cool, the terrace is a comfy place to have a glass of wine, and the cafe around the corner has great food. The owners were the friendliest, told us a bit about the history and left out home made cake and raki. Great stay!

From our first welcome on arrival until our departure was our host very welcoming, informative and made sure that our stay was a good one. From homemade griek delights on arrival and a cup koffie together before departure. It was a great 4 days. Alot to see close by but also in the surroundings.
