Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineSometimes the quality of the food was not very good. For example, potato dishes are not very well prepared, sausages are very tasteless. Booking.com has information that the hotel is 450 m from the beach, but the closest beach is 900 m away. Very inconvenient bus schedule to/from Heraklion.
Very friendly staff. Good value for money, especially considering that they provided a HB (breakfast + dinner) meal package. Cozy two-level room with a balcony with beautiful sea views. Daily cleaning and replacement of towels and bed linen. Events and entertainment for hotel guests. Guests from Great Britain, Germany, Poland.

CanadaParking wasn't great, but worked out. The stairs. Everywhere stairs. Normally, wouldn't be an issue, but my wife had a cast on her ankle, just before we left, so we made the best of things. It would have been nice to know the A/C was an extra charge. Or just add to the total cost of the room.
Location, building and layout is cool. Nice large rooms. Pool. Included breakfast. Great views

United KingdomLoved everything A suggestion to add vegetarian labels at meals would be a great addition but there was plenty of choices for all.
A perfect stay with everything we needed for an amazing holiday. The location and views were great. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay even better. Our room was huge with all we needed, the pool was a excellent addition. The food was fresh and tasty, there were plenty of choices at both dinner and breakfast. We would recommend to anyone, a fantastic price for a super hotel.

BulgariaThe air conditioning is paid - 7 EUR per day, keep that in mind! The room was not clean enough, there was a lot of dust both in the room and on the air conditioner. There was no shower gel in the bathroom which was very small and the cabin doors were broken.
The staff was nice, the location was good with a nice view

United KingdomWe were not too keen on the juice drinks served for breakfast, but it wasn’t a problem to take our juice to the restaurant. Another thing - not related to that hotel. Agia Pelagia is absolutely stunning, but if you are arriving from Chania, the bus stop is located a few km outside of the town, also if you don’t rent a car (I can only drive in England - badly) it’s not possible to do much sightseeing from Agia Pelagia unless you book an organised tour. There’s a Ktel bus to Heraklion, but the first one leaves at 9.45am if I remember correctly and the last one back to Agia Pelagia is at 10pm. So you have to rely on taxis and a taxi from Heraklion costs about €40, a taxi from the hotel to the intercity bus stop €20. Ktel should definitely try to do more to connect that beautiful village with the rest of the island. Also, be careful with the Psaromoura beach - it’s stunning, but the fish bite there.
Very spacious room, modern design, bathroom with hot water always available, the most amazing view from the balcony. Excellent staff, so friendly and helpful. We went half-board, loved the food, everything was fresh and tasty, and in our opinion there was plenty of choice (gemista - so yummy!). The hotel has a pool with plenty of sunbeds, too. It’s located in a quiet, beautiful location, slightly on a hill, but we regularly hike (even my 72-year-old mum) so it wasn’t a problem for us at all, I think even people with limited mobility could easily manage that location as it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, beaches, shops and a bus stop. We loved our stay there and would highly recommend that hotel to everyone who loves a relaxing holiday in a beautiful surroundings. Waking up to the sunrise from our balcony was the best feeling possible.

SerbiaI had issue only with the doors in the room - not easy to open and not easy to close, need fixing. However, this didn't ruin my vacation since everything else was perfect.
Staff hospitality on high level, breakfast was great, location really calm and surrounded with beautiful beaches.
