The pillows were not comfortable, and that gave me torticollis (neck pain) after the first night. After that, I started using a blanket instead of the pillow and the pain went away.

The view from my room was absolutely stunning! The hotel is located quite close to the city and to one of the most famous beaches in the island, and the room was very clean and well kept, albeit simple.

There was nothing I didn’t like. The welcome was warm, the location was perfect and Chris and his son were excellent hosts. The rooms are simple but very clean and with new bathrooms and fans/aircon should you need it. It’s an easy walk down to the beach or into town. I look forward to my return visit.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Perfect location and perfect rooms with beautiful views outside of the surrounding area. We slept for quite some time after a long ferry in the comfy beds. The island is a bit quieter than some of the others I visited which was a plus as well, and the hotel is tucked into the perfect location. The owner of this hotel went above and beyond. We conversed, and he checked in on how we were doing several times while passing by. This place is family run and care is put into the guests and the way in which the place is run, managed, and maintained. The owner very kindly insisted on taking us to the port as well in the morning. He was genuinely very kind, as was his son. Thanks for making our stay genuine and pleasant!! If we ever return to Ios, we know we have a place to stay.

I would have liked to have had the option of an additional blanket rather than just a sheet as I sleep better with a heavier cover but in fairness I didn’t ask. Also would have been good to have the use of an ironing board.

The property was fantastically located a short distance walk between the beach and the village and the views were stunning. The room was air conditioned and we had a lovely new bathroom and although the room was basic it was cleaned every day along with fresh towels and bedding and they provided a fridge too. They were so helpful and took us to and from the port and they were so accommodating to all we asked.

Wonderful location. Perfect distance between the beach so can walk to beach and or town in 10 mins. Shops nearby. Collection from port was very kind and owner was caring.

Great value for money with a family owned business! The owners were lovely and even dropped me off at the port on departure. The views were spectacular, and the cat is very friendly Thank you Pelagos!

We took out two rooms. The aircon in one of the rooms was not as strong as the other one - it needed to be left on for at least 5hrs to cool down but this was hard as the key holder needed to be in the room for it to work and it turned off whenever someone opened the door (fair enough for economical/environmental reasons). We did not bring this up with Chris as I doubt it would have been solved without an electrician. However, this was not a major concern.

Chris was and exceptional host, meeting us at the Ios port and also dropping us there at the end of our stay. The customer service at the property exceeded expectations. The hotel was about a 10min walk into the chora/town and a 10min walk down to the beach (two opposite directions). Pelagos was also a few metres away from a bus stop that went from the beach to the port regularly.

Well located very close walk to Mylopotas beach and also not far from main town (10 min walk). There’s also a bus that goes past the hotel both to beach and main town every 15 mins.

Beds were not the comfiest.

Great location! Right between the main beach and the town. Staff was incredible - providing us free shuttle to and from the port and even upgraded us to a room with a new bathroom.

A little funky in terms of communication with the family who runs it, they don’t pick up the office phone and our car rental company which they helped us organize was calling to tell us they were there. The safe in the room didn’t reliably work so we couldn’t put our documents in it. But it’s a cheap, clean, laid back place and the people/family is nice and helpful, albeit a little hard to communicate with. Overall not a big deal.
