Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There was a smell from the sewer.
We like the place a lot, spacious with good terace and yard, close to the beach and a good restaurant. The bathroom was new, good bedroom and comfortable bed.

We would like to see at least a bottle (or two) of water in the fridge. It costs nothing, and it is a good sign of hospitality!
The staff was very friendly. I always had a parking spot. The yard was very nice with BBQ spot. It was a nice and protected playground for kids!

The hot water is on solar heating, and is not connected to the main grid. Which means that on colder rainy days (which we happened to experience, and when you need a hot shower the most), there is no hot water, because there is no sun. Wi-Fi was very poor. And mobile reception was not the best on location. Otherwise things were quite good.
Location is nice, secluded and quiet. There is a shared barbecue if you want that. Staff is quite pleasant and responsive. Good equipped facilities for your stay.

Unfortunately internet was not working properly. We could not use the internet at all.
Property is 15 min walk away from the Stavros centre. There is a good restaurant nearby. Room was clean and neat, owner is superbly helpful.

It is like a hidden gem, the sign for the place was hard to see therefore a little hard to find the place.
The apartment is big, kitchen a bit small but we stayed only a night so it didn't disturb us much. Beds were comfortable. There is a nice small garden in front with a small playground for kids. Each flat has a space outside with table and chairs which we liked cause the area is quiet so at night is pleasant to stay or eat outside.

There could have been more kitchen utensils and an extra tea towel.
The property had a nice garden, barbecue facilities and play area for the children. The accommodation is in a peaceful location. Our room and bathroom were relatively clean.

The bathroom is a bit to small, and water is coming out when you take a shower. The air-conditioning is a old and may need cleaning.
The room is very clean , it is suitable for family with 2 children. It has a very small kitchen at the entrance and on the veranda it has a table where you can serve a meal. In the yard it has a small playground. It is close to the beach and far from the main road.

The facilities are ok but are a bit run down and they need better upkeep. The bathroom had a really bad smell but that's not something that the owners can control. Maybe the price is a bit steep for what it offers.
The hosts were really nice and kind, very welcoming people. The location was great and close to a calm and quiet beach and a very nice restaurant nearby.

If you're above 185-190cm you might have an issue in the studio's bathrooms and in the bedroom. Rooms are not really well isolated and you can be bothered sometimes from loud neighbors.
The location is perfect - quiet and yet less than 100m away from the main road. There were enough parking spots during the week, only it gets a bit crowded on the street during the weekend. The gas and charcoal barbeques in the garden are awesome.

The guest house is located in a peaceful area near Stavros. It has been recently renovated and offers comfortable accommodation - close to the beach and a fish restaurant. Stavros beach has a lot of stones and sea urchins, but south of it you may find very beautiful beaches with crystal clear water, no stones and sea urchins - Olimpiada and below (best one we found was Babylon beach). The hosts are kind, there is enough hot water and we had everything needed for our stay.

Firstly, I wouldn't call it a guest house. It is a converted cabin fitted with good interior. Some tiles had detached/come out of their pockets, which created additional noise when moving around but also presents a hazard to small children.
Very green surroundings. Small kid's play area within the property.

First of all,the room(studio) is too small,in the description it is not written anywhere that they are so small and there are no pictures of the studio,only of the apartments.The accommodation is about 3 km from Stavros,where the best beaches are.There is not enough privacy and i think it is too expensive for this kind of accommodation.
The staff that maintains the facilities is very good
