Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Location perfect, opposite 24 hour bakery and supermarket which sells everything. Bus stop metres from hotel. Warm welcome from Hotel Manager. Stayed beginning of September, pool was always quiet, plenty of sun beds. Short walk to lots of nice restuarants and beach. Room was perfect, good storage, fridge in room, comfy beds, bathroom with walk-in shower, very modern, always lots of hot water. Towels changed daily. Our room overlooked road, and yes there is some road noise, but it never bothered us, once doors are closed it was quiet. Slept well. Unfortunately, I slipped on the cobbled steps in Fira, which are well worn in places - so beware! I fractured my ankle and hotel staff were really helpful, Manager booked taxi for hospital. Hotel staff, especially Manager and Font were so kind and helpful. Would stay in this hotel again.

United KingdomThe sink and hob in the kitchenette weren't working, however these weren't mentioned in the booking anyway and I suspect are due to be replaced or removed. The bed was a little creaky but for the price, location and staff friendliness more than made up for it! A kettle and a room safe would have been appreciated but I gather you could request these from reception (we borrowed an iron one evening)
Despite booking an economy room and not expecting much for the price we were pleasantly surprised with the amazing new shower room! The terrace was very spacious and filled with light, but shaded with the grapevines overhead. All of the staff were super friendly and we loved our next door roommate the owners canary and his wonderful singing! The bakery opposite is 24 hours and is a great breakfast choice, there are also a number of roadside restaurants and a bus stop very close by. The pool area was fantastic and well maintained although we didn't make use of the facilities.

United KingdomThe rooms are a little basic and the sounds in the hallway do echo a bit meaning you can hear reception from the rooms sometimes.
The staff here are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a lovely size - not too busy and the pool was fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean.

RomaniaIt would have been useful to have an electric stove or a kettle in the rooms.
Excellent location: the hotel is close to the beach (5-10 minutes), a supermarket and a bakery (across the street both of them). The hotel is clean, with a well-kept swimming pool, sunbeds, and umbrellas. The hotel staff was very kind. The owner offered to provide us with a transfer from the airport for a fee, recommended trips in the area, and ensured we had everything we needed or asked for, including renting a car. The hotel rooms are generously sized, cleaned daily, and have comfortable beds. It was a pleasant stay. I warmly recommend the hotel.

United KingdomWe didn’t like that 5 days into our stay we were asked to change rooms with other guests who were complaining . Initially we agreed but then in thinking about it we didn’t want to change as we had only two days left of the holiday . The manager was very accepting of this and there was no tension . However reflecting on this I do not know why we were ever asked in the first place . Was it because it was two women on their own ? It made me cross in hindsight and although it was resolved I did feel rather put out that we were asked to give up our room in the first place .
We didn’t take breakfast as there was a great bakery across the road . The staff were fantastic esp Fot on reception . The room was cleaned every day to a great standard .

Good location, close walk to Perissa beach, bus stop just down the road and supermarket across from hotel. Everything was clean and the pool was great if you don’t feel like going too far!

United KingdomThe hotel is located by a road that can be very noisy at night especially in the weekend
The hotel is very nice and clean. It’s 10min walk from the beach but you can enjoy the swimming pool as well. There is a supermarket and a 24hours bakery across the road. Staff was lovely, everything was fine and smooth. They offer a boat tour of the islands and transport to and from the airport.

RomaniaBesides the bathroom, the rest of the room is not great (not terrible either). Furnite is a bit old and the closet smelled of stale air. Due to being so close to the street, it was very noisy. Especially at night, with many scooters and ATVs going by all night, it was impossible to sleep with the windows open and had to rely on the AC 100%.
Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean overall and the room was cleaned and tidied daily. Very nice bathroom. Close to Perissa beach, a supermarket right on the other side of the street and a few good restaurants nearby. Nice pool and pool area. Free parking, with enough space. Good AC unit and the staff left the AC running so it's pleasant in the room when you return.

United KingdomIt would have been useful if we had a kettle in the room. We asked for one and it was no problem supplying one. It is just a little bit away from the beach, but not really an issue if you like walking.
Staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. It wasn't too deep either, which was helpful to a non swimmer.

PolandBreakfast could be more differentiated (at least 1 hot meal will be nice to have). However, in the end, the number of restaurants offers good food quality nearby.
Really plasent stay, hotel has everything what is required to make it comfortable: clean swimming pool, nice bathroom at room (renovated), room was not spacious, but the great view and balcony recompense it all. Owner and stuff are always helpful and can share some recommendations. Close is Bakery and carrefour (8-23), good location. To beach is ca. 1km, it is not challenging to walk there. Close to beach many restaurants with local and worldwide cuisines.

United Kingdomhotel had very strict rules on towels, any marks (e.g. makeup) would result in an additional charge. there were no towels available to take to the beach so make sure you bring your own. The pool bar is closed which is a shame, the owner said it was due to staff shortages but staff were often seen standing around drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.
location is was excellent, directly next door to a bus stop with buses into Thira, within walking distance to Perissa beach, local shops and restaurants. opposite the hotel is a supermarket and 24hr bakery. the property was clean and suited its purpose for a short stay.

The Hotel is on the busiest streets in Perissa and has a super market and the greatest bakery in front of it. Literally less than 1 minute. The staff was always friendly and helpful with any question. They cleaned the rooms every day and it was always clean, the towels were also changed every day.
