Popi collected us from the port and drove us up into the old town to the room. She brought a delicious breakfast to us each morning and was most helpful about beaches and restaurants. I would recommend her rooms highly.

Great location, perched between the windmills and the castle, offers easy access to both the main Chora stores and restaurants as well as the monumental castle and the bars higher up in the Chora. Popi, the studios owner and manager, is very hospitable, offers a ride to and from the ferry, a really nice breakfast, and is an excellent communicator overall providing nice tips and suggestions for newcomers

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the chora and close to the castle. The rooms are very cosy and spacious, ours had a balcony with a great view! Popi is an excellent host and made sure we had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!

You need to park your car about 10mins away from the hotel. Not easy to carry the luggage up to the hotel, but if you inform the host, she will pick you up with her own car and help you with this too!

Amazing little hotel in the Chora of Astypalaia! Perfect location near the Castle and the main road where all the restaurants are, but mainly an amazing host that was super polite, helpful and prepared the best breakfast ever. Highly recommended!

It was perfect

Where do I start? Our spotless apartment was equipped with everything. Roomy and cool, with a large dining table, seating area, good wifi for working and a super well equipped kitchen that opened to a pretty patio where we enjoyed eating the amazing breakfasts which were delivered every morning. Upstairs the bedroom was cool and quiet with a/c which wasn’t always necessary. We used the upstairs bathroom which had a fixed shower head above and great drainage. Best of all is the wonderful hospitality and kindness of our host. She made our stay feel like a holiday, taking care of us in the best possible way.

Poppi is a great host, who kindly picked up me from the port with her car, and drove me there for the return. The studio was sparkling clear and I had some homemade cake as a welcome guest+ another as part of the delicious breakfast. The studio is fully equipped and well located in a calm and pictu area of the town, I wished I could gave stayed more!

Only stayed a night unfortunatley, not much to complain.

Super Host and hospitality. The Best Place i ve stayed so far. Breakfast, close to castle, close to old town, 20 min beach walking distance. Got picked up at port and she drove me back at 5:30 am. Speaks very good english, ... Could pay with card and she brought self baked stuff. Better than any Hotel or any place i ve stayed so far in Greece. Price top. Shower Gel stuff and all the goodies were there too. Ευχαριστώ🙏🏻

Popi was amazing - friendly, kind, generous, breakfast was thoughtfully made. The studio was brilliant, surprisingly lots of space for the small floorplan. Comfy bed. Lots of equipment for cooking. Great location central to Astypalea and the castle.

Fantastic location on the south west side of the castle. The view from the balcony was simply wonderful. It was a traditional Cycladic house with a double stone bed in the bedroom. Upstairs there was a fully equipped kitchen, with all the necessities, while it also functioned as a lounge-hall. The bedroom was huge at the bottom of the house and it was cool at night without having to use the air conditioner. The breakfast was very good prepared by our hostess. Popi a warm and smiling person, which in itself is a huge plus on the holiday, as she wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Being there is must...and we must go again!

Literally nothing, I had a very pleasant stay.

My stay here was amazing! Popi was such an amazing host, so friendly and generous. Popi picked us up from the port and drove us up to the rooms which she really didn't have to do. Each morning a fresh breakfast was delivered to the door. I can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful Popi was. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the photos don't do it justice. Location was great, short walk to the square which has lots of cute restaurants and the bus stop. You can also walk to the Venetian castle up the hill to watch the sunset. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend Popi Studios!

I have nothing to complain - it is real value for money

The kindness of the host - Mrs Popi was very helpful , and I really appreciate that. She really took the extra mile , she waited for me at the port , the room was very clean and comfortable, and she had for me a freshly baked banana cake . I will be back to this beautiful 🦋 island and will chose this property again.

Superb! Gorgeous old town apartment in great location. Spotlessly clean, beautiful sea breeze fantastic breakfast and equipped with all you could need for a self contained stay. Lovely outdoor sitting area. Even freshly baked banana bread on arrival! Best value stay for my time travelling the islands. Wonderful host.

popi came to pick us up from the port and gave us information about the island. the studio have a nice terace, everything is clean, the towels and linens are smell so fresh. she set up breakfast in the morning and it was so delicious. the location is very good to walk to the castle and windmills

There is absolutely nothing to dislike . The property is exceptional on all accounts.

This property is exceptional. The location, styling , comfort, facilities , price but most importantly the hosting was second to none. We cannot thank Popi enough for her amazing hosting skills. She went above and beyond. She picked us up and returned us to the port , provided 5 star breakfast each day with enough for lunch too and gave us very clear advice about on how to navigate the island with excellent recommendations for beaches and food etc . We cannot wait to return and feel we have found a really special place in Popi studios. Long may they continue. We will definitely be back .

The host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we needed and more. The studio is cozy and is located in the heart of astypalaia. Great for everyone and especially young people, because it is close to Astypalaia’s nightlife attractions. Would definitely go again, and would recommend. Amazing!!! popi <3
