Great location - very easy to get to the beach, shops, restaurants, the airport. The pool was fantastic, and we had a great patio to our room as well. Recommended.

We liked everything, rooms although basic lovely and clean good views. Pool and gardens great. Very best to 3 beaches and lots of restaurants. The staff very helpful and friendly. Easy to walk to Argostoli and near local transport.

The rooms were very dated. Looked like they haven’t been refurbed since the 70s. The bathrooms especially need a revamp. Bathtub showers with a shower curtains are not great.

Every alcoholic drink was flat, there was no fizz in beer or G & T, very disappointing.

After they moved us to a different room, I must say, I can't really complain about anything.

My friend and I stayed at the Princess hotel for 6 days. The hotel has the most perfect location, it is literally across the road from a beautiful public swimming beach. We also did some tours and the stop to get the bus for the tours is a few mins walk (5/6 mins) from the hotel. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, gift stores and superrettes. And the taxi rank is also opp the hotel. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The initial room we got was not the greatest (but I did see that the hotel were in the process of doing upgrades) We asked for another room which was much more comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfasts are nothing fancy, but more than enough of a selection. Our favourite were the bowls of little home made biscuits that were available every morning. I loved my stay at the Princess hotel and would go back in a heartbeat. I wouldn't bother looking at any other hotel as that one was perfect. Lassi and Kefalonia are a little jewel.

The bathroom was a little small. The cleaners forgot to clean our room twice and we had to keep asking for replacement shampoo. The air conditioning struggled with the heat so nights were very hot but this was down to the position of our room in full sun as our friends rooms were nice and cool. The breakfast was a little predictable - a good choice but the same everyday.

Loved the pool- the temperature was just right and it was very clean. Our room was clean and airy with an enormous comfy bed. We had a 180 degree sea view from the balcony overlooking Lassi which was lovely especially at night. Loved sitting out on our little balcony. Liked the size of the hotel - only 40+ rooms - not too big. The staff were friendly and smily. The location was perfect.

you need to ask for the renovated rooms - unfortunately we were placed in a room that needed to be redone and the phone/WiFi was not working. we were moved on our last night.

we liked the location. The afternoon/night receptionist was so helpful and we would plan our next day activities with her - that was priceless :)

The shower and bathroom is a little dated. The shower didn’t drain too well leaving water in the bath however was powerful and a good temperature. Some different fruit options at breakfast would have been great.

The staff were friendly, attending to every need. The room was basic in decoration but the had what you needed. The bed was very comfortable.

Lots of steps, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone with mobility issues

We were impressed by this lovely family run hotel. We found the staff to be really friendly and professional. Rooms a little small, but incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. Cleaned on a daily basis, and several changes of bedding and towels during our week's stay. Dining area very pretty. Good varied choices for breakfast, including home made breads, cookies jams. Always a hot choice such as bacon, beans, 3 types of egg, pancakes etc as well as cereal, croissants, yoghurt, fruit, ham and cheese. Good coffee. Really lovely pool area which has just been refurbished, along with new sunbeds. Fantastic location just across the road from one of the best beaches in Kephalonia
