The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Athens. A very short walk to the Plaka and the Acropolis. Excellent setting for breakfast in the roof top restaurant.

We stayed here in 2014 and even though the rooms were comfy and clean, it was now very dated and really needs some upgrading, especially if you are paying these sorts of prices.

Great location. Near a Metro to get around and actually close enough to attractions to walk instead. Breakfast was great - good variety and great view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The pool was closed our entire stay and this was not advertised sadly.

The Hotel was excellent, perfect location for getting to everywhere we wanted to go in Athens. The staff were very helpful and even helped my partner and I improve our Greek which was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble. The balcony was lovely for the evenings as well.

Generally ROH need to improve illumination. If it switch to white LED Lightings I believe it will be more impressive.

The pool wasn't open and the staff wouldn't be straight with us as to if it would open during our stay. The shower over the bath was awkward and hard to get in and out of.

The breakfast at the restaurant was wonderful. The views of the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus were astounding. The bed was very comfortable

The room should have a kettle to allow guest to make their own hot water at anytime. There is no place to simply plug in to change your phone or connect the laptop. Not vey friendly. the breakfast just has bacon. A guest who does not eat pork has the only option to go vegetarian. Not good. Can consider adding some fish or Chicken.

Loved the location, the hotel itself was beautiful! Comparing it to other hotels whilst walking through Athens the exterior was just beautiful and I’m so glad we chose to stay there. Room service was great, the staff in the dining area at breakfast were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was a good selection. Room was clean and tidy, though a little dated but I feel that was in keeping with the hotel. We had everything we needed in the room. Quiet location despite being on a busy road, great tour information office next door. Would definitely recommend

The hotel could do with a refurbishment. Very few points to recharge mobile phones etc. The bathroom had few hooks to hang towels.

We had a nice room overlooking the pool. The top floor terrace offers spectacular views over the Acropolis. Breakfast was very good with a great choice.

The rooms are a little bit dated and there are hardly any plug sockets in the room to charge your phone/headphones etc. The bar on the 7th floor doesn't open until 5pm (probably because we went out of season) and it would be nice if the bar could open in the afternoon so you can have a coffee or a snack in the hotel during the day.

The bar and restaurant had incredible views and felt very cozy at night. The staff were all wonderful. Very clean and well kept. Also an excellent location in the city centre. Breakfast selection was excellent and I ate in the hotel restaurant and bar and all the food was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

The photos provided in their page are not even close to the room they allocated. our bathroom was a 3 star hotel not a luxury 5 star hotel.

It is a pity the hotel doesn't provide a kettle in the room, not to mention courtesy bottled water or tea and coffee sachets. We asked for hot drinking water to be sent to the room but were charged 5 Euros each time. We complained at the front desk and fortunately the staff removed the charges. In spite of the removal of this charge, it was unpleasant that we actually had to deal with something like that at all during our holiday. And this hotel is supposed to be above 4 stars. Honestly, a small thing like that made the hotel management come across rather cynical and it seemed to be trying to rip off customers. The feeling it gave us was the direct opposite of hospitality. The breakfast was also pretty dismal. It was the staff who saved the day. In fact, the next time I go to Athens or recommend hotels for friends in Athens, I will first call the hotel to ask whether there is a kettle in the room before I make the booking, or advise my friends to do so.

The physical aspect of the hotel is great. This includes its location, the building and the room itself. The staff is excellent. Everybody we came cross, especially the front desk staff (Mr John in the day and a lady in the evening) was extremely helpful, friendly, and caring. If I go back to this hotel, it will be because of the staff.
