Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Sound insulation in the hotel is non-existent, so if you are a light sleeper better looks somewhere else. Close proximity to the airport can be taken as a disadvantage as planes are departing over the hotel area.
Great place for the before the early flight stay. Possible to walk to the airport. Comfortable room and bed. Friendly staff. Quite location (street noise wise).

Only small problem would be the location, it's a 20 min bus ride to Heraklion Center and a 40 min walk to Heraklion but giving the pricing, it's really good
Great hotel, super nice staff. It's clean and surrounded by plenty shops, supermarkets, bus stops and everything you need. The pool is amazing to have around :) it's also close to special buses that go around the island which is great to visit plenty

Ideally situated for Heraklion airport, the hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a bakery, supermarket and taverna within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Would highly recommended the Sofia hotel.

The only thing I wished for was the ability to make a cup of tea in the room. We were offered coffee at 5am whilst waiting for our taxi though, which was a very kind gesture.
This was our 2nd stay as this hotel is so convenient for an early flight from Heraklion airport. It's clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and the staff are lovely. It's in a quiet location with excellent air con/heating and a lift for getting luggage upstairs. There is a fridge and safe deposit box and bottles of water are provided.

It is close to the Rental Car points and close to the airport. It is a good place to stay if you have to get to airport in the morning. Recomend for staing with a family-they have family rooms.

The booking.com ad was misleading—there is zero food onsite, no snacks, nothing. The water in the bathroom is not potable, good thing we had mouthwash to sterilize the teeth brushing process. There is no in-room coffee pot, which we had planned to use.
24 hour on-site espresso, but it’s not free. Provided 3 bottles of water in the mini-fridge.

Coffee making facilities in the room would have made our stay even better.
We used this hotel because of its situation, being very close to the airport, as we had an early morning flight. We are pleased to report that we were not disappointed in this. The hotel itself was very comfortable and served our purpose. We are sure that we will stay again, perhaps for slightly longer in order to visit Heraklion.

hotel doesn't have many parking spaces and when those are full it gets tricky. Luckily I found a place for my car on the narrow streets.

For visiting Herakleion I would not recommend this hotel. It is a bit far from the center and the interior of the hotel is a bit old.
The hotel is close to airport which was very convenient for us. We just stayed here for one night. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. They arranged us a taxi and breakfast very early in the morning.
