Absolutely brilliant stay. Was probably one of our favourite places while walking the Corfu Trail. Wonderful double story apartment, extremely well equipped and looked after. We spent a lot of time sitting on one of the two balconies which both have brilliant views. Wonderful pool area. The other amazing feature is the taverna attached to the property and also run by Anastassis who opened it up specially for us when we were there. We loved the big open taverna and the decor was brilliant. Food was top drawer as well. Overall very highly recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely nothing

Lovely family run villas and taverna, made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was superb with such a huge variety of delicious, local produce, one of the highlights of the day! Homemade jams (especially watermelon and fig were to die for), greek yoghurt, honey, Greek salad, omelette, toast, crepe, chocolate cake, fresh fruits... Dinner of equal quality, generous and totally delicious. The boutique style villa itself was beautifully decorated, and very homely. We slept so well. Lovely touch to be welcomed with Kumquat liquor and fruits. The view of the mountains and sea from the property pool and balconies is breathtaking and worth getting up for the magnificent sunrise. Perfect romantic break. Get away from the bustle and tourists and stay here! So peaceful. There is a Smart TV (including Netflix) with good WiFi. Sokraki village is so cute and has a lovely welcoming family vibe. We would love to come back one day and if in Corfu again we will surely come here. Cannot say enough good things!

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Units are lovely and there is a great pool area. The location is central to the rest of the island and it was great to escape the busyness of the beach areas.

Absolutely nothing!

From the tastefully Greek furnished, clean rooms, the infinity pool with breathtaking views to the mountains, sea and Corfu Old Town, to the taverna below where delicious Greek Cuisine is served. It’s one of those places where the family goes above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one and it’s no surprise that many of their guests return! It’s central location in the middle of the island is a perfect starting point to drive and explore the island. However, the daily highlight was to return late afternoon for a dip in the pool and enjoy the amazing views and the delicious food. Mama’s moussaka was the best we’ve tasted in a long time. Do walk up to the village to have a coffee or cold drink amongst the locals at Cafe Cherry. It’s the perfect spot to see the village prepare for the day ahead or come together at the end of a hot day when the temperatures cool down.

Perfect hosts - couldn't do enough for us. Location is stunning high up in the mountains and views down to the bay. The village is charming, we made some lovely connections in our few days there. Can recommend all 3 cafes in the village and also the food at Sokraki Villas which was the best we had on our 2 weeks in Albania and Greece. The baklava is to die for, as is the halloumi! They were great with the kids, arranged taxis for us and we had the pool to ourselves most days. Just perfect. Good luck naming the new baby!

Everything! A beautiful location for a charming holiday complex, with wonderful hosts. The accommodation was very nice and the pool and view of the coast from it was superb. The taverna served great food and our hosts were excellent. We’ll be back.

The roads to and from it are not easy, they are steep and narrow. Otherwise we could not find any fault with this lovely taverna

Everything! The spacious villa itself, the familial atmosphere and genuine welcome from the moment you arrive, the on-site taverna (the pastitsada has ruined all other pastitsadas for me! should I be grateful or bitter :)) -- it's a special spot and one of the enduring memories of my twelve days of the Corfu Trail. I will back and staying for a hell of a lot longer than one night when I do.

We were at the beginning of the season and the apartment smelled as though it had been closed up (old fireplace). Leaving the windows open helped with that, and I wouldn't take points off for it. We had to rent a car to get there. I do not know if there would be transportation otherwise. These are not complaints, just observations. Loved the place and the people.

The location was in a hillside village, away from the typical tourist locations. Our host family felt like friends. The homecooked fresh food exceptional. We had a clothes washer and line for drying. The swimming pool was clean, full sized and a perfect temperature. The views of the villages below and the ocean were exceptional. We enjoyed walking through the small traditional village where coffee, food and drink are also offered. We definitely recommend eating nightly at the hotel restaurant though.

amazing place ! anastassis and his family were so kind and polite and did everything for us to make us feel at home. the food at their restaurant family was the best we’ve eaten in Greece by far ! everything so fresh and perfectly cooked. they also opened the restaurant specially for us to have diner. amazing pool and the view there is stunning , so quiet and peaceful, away from the busy city.

We had the most wonderful stay at Sokraki villas. Anastassis and his team go above and beyond to make your stay the best. The view from the villas and pool were incredible. Our favourite part of our stay was the amazing taverna run by Anastassis, we ate here every night of our stay and had lovely breakfasts in the mornings! Also, it was my partner and I’s birthdays during our stay and Anastassis went the extra mile for us to make it special. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend.

We stayed here for two nights, as a break while walking the Corfu Trail. It was the perfect place to break our journey. The accommodation was spacious, we had beautiful views from our balconies, and there was a washing machine, which was much needed at that stage on the trail! We loved the pool, and the peace and quiet, the very friendly & helpful staff, and the very fine meals in the taverna. Breakfast was lovely, and the location was great, being just down the hill a bit from the village. I would highly recommend staying here.

The villas themselves are not very modern, and we were in one without a lot of windows. Also we had a small issue with the shower but they were quick to tend to it. The room was clean though and with the beautiful outside oasis we did not want to be inside much anyways!

Everything about this stay was amazing!! A wonderful, hospitable family made everything about the experience easy. Good communication to determine check in procedures, homemade, delicious, wonderfully priced breakfast. The views are even more amazing than pictures. The only regrets was not staying longer! We stayed in Corfu old town the next two nights and it in no way compared to our stay at Sokraki.

We were taken care of by Anastassis and the whole Sokraki family right from the get go and before we had even arrived at the accommodation (with helpful advice on directions and check-in support). Incredibly welcoming family run accommodation, with exceptional food and customer service. Fantastic views from the accommodation and traditional village Tavernas & cafe within easy walk. Getting to and from the accommodation requires a fair amount of driving up windy roads (probably not great if you get car sick) but this is a tiny price to pay for the remote location (away from too many tourists and with some of the most beautiful views around). Thank you so much to Anastassis, Dimitris, Mary, Nicodimos & Marina for making this such a fantastic holiday.
