Lovely hotel on the hills with a beautiful and relaxing terrace. It’s at a perfect distance from the village and from the pretty beach of Livadi that you can reach in just 10 minutes by foot. The staff was amazing, lovely and caring and the food they serve is great as well. This hotel is like a little piece of paradise 10/10!

There was nothing we didn’t like

Speries suites had the most beautiful setting, it was peaceful and nicely decorated in all neutral tones. Alexandra and her mother were both very welcoming and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We did a boat trip one day which was worth every penny as it took us to some secluded beaches which made this already special and very tranquil island even more so!

I can't think of anything I did not like.

It was my second time staying at Speires and, just like the first time, it was a great experience. It is a little jewel on a lovely island. The silence and peace that you can find there are truly wonderful, but it's very close to the main parts of the island and a ten-minute walk to the beach, so there's nothing missing. Alexandra and her mom are very welcoming, always ready to help and fun people to talk to, on top of it all. I will surely go back!

This was my second stay at Speires Suites, first time I was travelling solo and this time I was with a friend. We each had our own rooms and each was delightful with an outlook out to sea. Alexandra is a terrific host, and great fun. She is also very caring about cats and told us how one of the kittens was in the process of being adopted by an Italian woman. I loved sitting having breakfast on the covered patio area which was extremely attractive; the grounds are very well kept with many different kinds of cactus and other plants well-tended in large pots. Both our rooms were spacious, and attractively furnished with white linens. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect with gorgeous views over the island and down to the port. It was a pleasant walk over to Livadi beach or down to the Chora restaurants although each involved an uphill return walk. Alexandra is a great host and we loved her commitment to her animals - she has even found adoptive homes for the kittens which are welcome around the hotel. Breakfast is lovely with a great choice and all freshly prepared. The rooms are all attractively designed, some with lounge areas others not but still perfectly nice. Great to be picked up and dropped off at the port with no additional costs.

A bit pricey, but given what’s on offer perhaps to be expected. But breakfast there did feel expensive, so that is probably the only improvement I would suggest they consider.

Absolutely gorgeous place, lovely rooms with a balcony view over the bay that was exceptional. The whole property has been designed beautifully with a stylish aesthetic and calming colour palette. It really is a step up from your standard accommodation. Alexandra and her staff were lovely, really helpful and accommodating. Iraklia is a stunningly beautiful place and the only thing we would change would be that next time we’d stay much longer. Highly recommended.

The view from our balcony wasn't great, however we did chose a room with a garden view rather than a sea view. Having said that our garden view was fundamentally a boundary wall.

A beautiful property which certainly has an up market feel to it. Our room was extremely spacious and well appointed and had all the facilities you would require for a perfect stay. The communal areas are well laid out and have a relaxing feel to them and the staff extremely pleasant and polite. Breakfast was adequate with sufficient options to ensure a good start to the day. The collection and drop off service to the port is a real bonus as the property is about an 800m walk away from the port, some of which is up hill. The property is also ideally located to visit Livadea beach which is the best beach on the island.

We could not have been better looked after by Alexandra and Markella. After a swim from the delightful beach by the port, a highlight was sitting on their terrace in the evening overlooking Iraklia and enjoying a drink. Everything was peaceful. We'll be back, no doubt.
