Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelBreakfast was served quite late, which is not ideal when traveling with small children who wake up earlier. The town itself is quite small, and the hotel is on the part of Evia where the sea is rougher with stronger waves. We stayed at the end of August and couldn’t really go into the sea, so this is something to keep in mind.
The hotel is located very close to the sea. We also appreciated that there was food available by the pool and in the restaurant for most of the day, which was very convenient when we didn’t feel like going out to look for a place to eat.

GreeceCertain issues with the room: ● 1 of the showers needed maintenance overhead ● Room safebox was not attached securely in the closet and dialing 000000 (master lock code) could open easily the safe, even if it had been locked with a guest's selected code!!🙄 ● Fridge was way small to store big bottles of mineral water And an overall feedback: ● Very few dustbins in common areas and none for recycling inside the hotel area. ● Staff were doing their very best but kitchen needs more personnel to deliver the goods in reasonable time!👎
● Lovely ambience and atmosphere ● Super friendly staff ● Great modern pool ● Very comfortable rooms

NetherlandsThere was a bit of a limited choice for dinner and what was offered was hardly Greek cuisine, did not match with the interesting offers even less luxurious restaurants around the area have. The pricing of ice cream was a bit ridiculous. Breakfast didn’t have much fresh fruit.
Beautiful beach, a very well built hotel, most rooms seemed to have a sea view, well maintained, very clean, great architecture. The pool is lovely, even though we preferred the beach. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the young waiters and waitresses at breakfast.

GreeceThere was some noise from nearby room(family with kids) at times!
We loved the suite and especially appreciated the private pool — it was a perfect place to relax. The room itself was spacious and well-maintained. . The private amenities definitely made up for it!"

GreeceThis year it was very obvious , the hotel has huge problems handling orders especially at noon but also at night. Ordered lamb and it came after 1 hour and 15 minutes. ( it was already cooked!!!)) We were asked 2 or 3 times to say our order to the staff the time we ordered they could not memorize anything. We ordered 2 toasts and they came 40 minutes later. The staff needs to have some experienced people in it because only new unexperienced doesnt help at all at this level. Mister Stefanos saves everything from wrong made drinks etc. till wrong dishes!!
We have been visiting for 5 years this hotel because our children love it. Mister Stefanos tries to cover every mistake from the unexperienced staff and Marina is the most professional and kindest lifeguard we have ever met. The restaurant menu was updates by the new chef and a positive change in some plates must be mentioned. The people from the kids club this year were kind and had very positive energy with the kids. We liked a lot how the team showed the stars with a laser beam and discussed some greek mythology with the children. The playground was also renovated and has a sun protection cover which was very nice for the children!!

GreeceThe beach in front of the hotel is one of the best beaches when there is no wind. When the wind blows one cannot really swim in the sea because it gets rough. One needs to use the pool. However, the access to the pool is difficult if you cannot jump in. There is a ladder on the deep side which is difficult (but not impossible) to use, if you have, for example, difficulty with your knees.
Thalatta Hotel is architecturally a very beautiful hotel by the seaside. The room was large and very clean. The common places were also very clean. We had a beautiful view of the sea and of the sunrise. The personnel was very helpful, polite and competent. The swimming pool was very large and there was a separate pool for children. There was a lifeguard that was present for 10 hours everyday and very alert, making sure that everyone (and in particular children) is safe. Breakfast was excellent. We had a wonderful long weekend. We will be back. I do need to stress that the hotel is ideal for families with children.

GreeceSpa could have more facilities (ie sauna, hammam roome etc) The food (lunch/dinner) in the restaurant could have been better - a bit overrated. There are many families with kids visiting the hotel, and there can be many kids in the pool in the same time, so take that into consideration if someone without kids wants to visit.
Everything is amazing. Staff is very polite and friendly. Facilities are top notch - especially the swimming pool is fantastic. Rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, very spacious, with an amazing bed, modern bathroom with (2) rain showers and great terrace. Towels change every day. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of food to choose from and many option a la carte, where you can order everything in the menu and they prepare it for you. The hotel is located right next to the sea, which makes it a great option if you like the beach and visit for this purpose. Other than that, there is nothing else to do in the surrounding area. Kids club for the children make it a great choice for visiting families. Value for money is very good, depending on the season.

GreeceNot sure why the hotel also calls itself a spa, for there is only one therapist, no sauna, no steam bath, no jacuzzi… During our stay it was not possible to get a massage as there was no availability plus the therapist had her day off.
The hotel is at a lovely location, rooms and gardens are beautiful, and at large the staff is helpful and polite. I would like to say a special thank you to Marina the life guard, Alexandra the waitress and Mr. Stefanos the chef for their help and outstanding service to us all.

United KingdomJust the bees!!!
Breakfast was incredible every morning - it was just a shame there were so many bees! However, the hotel offer a complimentary room service. We were upgraded free of charge as it was the end of the season which is probably why - still very much appreciated. A brilliant little gym as well which we used a couple of times.
