Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room had not been cleaned but was presented as though it was. Bedsheets and blankets had fresh white stains. Towels had been used previously. The staff corrected the problem, but how embarrassing to book for a friend and have them find your recommended hotel in this condition.

United KingdomRoom cleanliness could have been better - grouting needed cleaning and carpets serious cleaning. A bedside lamp bulb was broken and not replaced during the time we were out although we left the request with reception.
The beds were very comfortable. Reception was straightforward. They very kindly looked after our bags as we were too early for checkin. Location was very good for our early morning short 5 min walk down to the port. View from our room was over a small park and it was quiet. We did not have breakfast as we left too early. Good value for money

United KingdomThe staff. Look i know there can be cultural differences, but i've been coming to Greece regularly since 1983. The early morning reception guy was monosyllabic, the afternoon girl clearly had no interest in the hospitality sector and lacked people skills. Both seemed unmotivated, bored and past caring. Not impressed!
The location was good for us, we arrived on the 05:30 am Ferry and it was just a 15 minute walk from the port. The room was good, having TV, comfy bed, view and good shower.

Hotel and room much nicer than other hotels I’ve stayed in Piraeus. staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely balcony overlooking gardens. Location fine only a short walk to the port or Metro and Marina. Nice bars and food places nearby.
