The place is less than five minutes from the Perussia Beach. Also, Maria was very welcoming and told us how to navigate the area for food and beach.

The room was clean. The location was good, a short walk to the beach, supermarket, bakery and bus stop. The air condition was cold. The balcony and rooftop were nice and relaxing.

A quiet street just a hundred or so yards to the beach and an excellent restaurant - The Volcano. The pool was a decent size with plenty of sun loungers and our room had its own balcony as well as decent kitchen facilities and was kept clean and tidy. Most of all, we enjoyed meeting Maria who provided us with a warm welcome and a guided tour, and Mr "Tne Best" Vassilis, the owner. The Carrefour supermarket is not far away for provisions and the bakery opposite is open 24/7

Can't fault it - fantastic value for the price.

Just wonderful. Quiet, comfortable with a beautiful pool area. Very close to the beach and great restaurants/bars. Vasilis and Maria were great hosts without being intrusive. So helpful and respectful.

Nothing could have been done better, I felt safe and happy here. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Sitting down for coffee with the guests and owners was my favorite part of my stay. For me traveling is all about connection, this is exactly what you get when you stay here. Rather than the busy touristy streets of Fira or Oia Persia offers a simplicity that allows for nourishment and not only a connection to yourself but others. I am a solo female traveler and was a little nervous about finding a hotel to stay in that is safe but I could have not felt any safer. Maria and Vasilis treated me like family and I am so grateful for both of them. Maria is amazing at what she does, you can feel free to ask her absolutely anything, and don't be shy about saying what kind of budget you're on. Maria found me the most perfect activities for my small budget. Anyone who needs a reset, connection with nature, connection with themselves or others...this is the place for you. I am leaving here feeling like the person that I strive to be.

The staff is so caring and accommodating. They really made our short stay easy and comfortable. Maria is the absolute best. Cute kittens a bonus :) 2 min away from the beach with loads of restaurants to choose from and nice bakery just across the road to enjoy breakfast on your own balcony. Lovely people and lovely stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

This is a home from home. The staff have such a kind aura, nothing is a problem and the bed was very comfortable. The beach is a three minute walk with plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard. Exceptional value for money.

Everything was perfect for us.

The hotel was only 1 minute from the black sand beach and many tavernas and bars. There was a also a wonderful bakery very close by. The room was light and airy with 2 verandahs and a rooftop terrace. The pool area was delightful with plenty of sunbeds. Mr Vasilis and Maria were fantastic hosts on "the best island". We were very sad to leave.

Amazing place. We have been going to Santorini for over 20 years and never stayed here. Now we will be staying at The Best every time we go. Vassillis and his staff, especially Maria are so friendly and helpful. Basic, but clean, accommodation, qLovely little pool, great location. Can't wait to go back.

There isn't anything we didn't like, everything was fantastic.

The room was clean and the pool was nice. The host came to greet us from the taxi even though it was late at night. He was very friendly, showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. The next day my son fell and split his leg open and the host was fantastic. He made sure my son was ok and cleaned and bandaged his leg. He arranged a taxi to take us to the hospital and gave me his number and said to ring if we needed anything.

Loved our stay at The Best, wish we could have stayed longer! Perfect location in Perissa, a nice quiet area of Santorini with plenty of restaurants, ATV hire & a nice shopping strip along the beach. Beautiful black beaches around that aren’t packed. Our room was clean & had a beautiful rooftop terrace. The hotel also features a nice big pool with a bar & lounge chairs. Such a peaceful property. The staff are phenomenal. They made us feel right as home the second we got there. They had great recommendations and were extremely helpful with transfers & holding onto our luggage.
