If you are looking for a calm, clean and nice experience of Zakynthos, staying at villa clelia in Vasilikos is the place for you. Around here are multiple great beaches where you can relax, dive and explore. The only downside was that there were only local stores and no supermarkets which made the prices a little bit expensive sometimes but no worries definitely worth it compared to how good you have it there at some restaurants, like Mai’s restaurant. The host was simply amazing. Helping us with what and whenever he could. The room was cleaned regularly, clean, and the AC was very helpful with the warmth. A big thank you to Anton for making our stay as comfortable as possible.

There was a gorgeous view from the window, so you could see a big olive garden, where sheep and chickens walked. It was really picturesque and relaxing. You can also see a part of the sea from the window. The owner was always polite and friendly, ready to answer any questions.

There was a lack of power plugs in the room for recharging your gadgets ! No toaster with very minimal cooking facilities! Maybe a swimming pool would be an good idea ?

The kitchenette was very basic and a chopping board and bread knife would help with preparing breakfast. It was not set up for cooking, it had a plug in single ring hob and a kettle. The shower was functional but the wet room floor got quite wet by the toilet after a shower.

Quiet location, 100 metres or less to 2 tavernas and a short drive or walk to more tavernas and Geraki beach which was a lovely sandy beach with great scenery and we saw baby turtles one morning. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony had a lovely view across the olive trees to the sea. Plenty of parking. Communication with villa was good. Fridge was a good size to chill our drinks and breakfast which we ate on the balcony every morning.

Small toilet with a little room in the shower.

I highly recommend Villa Clelia to anyone seeking a quiet and clean beachside apartment. The hosts are kind and always ready to help. The room receives thorough cleaning every second day. We particularly enjoyed our evening walks through the olive groves. It's a delightful retreat for a peaceful getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Clelia. We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing and this was exactly that! Only 15-20 minute drive from the center, yet not at all far from supermarkets, restaurants or beaches. Everybody at the Villa extremely helpful and soooo nice. We walked in there as boyfriend/girlfriend and walked out as fiance/fiance 💍😉💞 We are definitely coming back here 🥰🫶

Rooms are limited in space but if you are not spending your whole vacation confined, all good.

Excellent location, great manager, always ready to assist. It is a very good value for money in the least party-hefty zone on the island. If you enjoy quiet time, downbeat atmosphere and very family-run restaurants (1 or 2 there), it could be your choice.

Cleaning services were provided daily but the owners could concider refreshing the place in general (bit of a rusty fridge, broken trash can etc.). Small shower especially for men.

We went for 10 day stay at Villa and really appreciated hospitality and level of service (both from manager- Adonis was the kindest person around!- and housekeeping crew). It is a perfect location for all the sun seekers to stay with easy access to nearby shop, great restaurant and beach. The room was small but had exceptionally large bed and nice balcony with view at olive garden.

Shower is small but couldn’t be any bigger due to the layout of the building, and there isn’t a shower head bracket so you need to hold the shower head whilst in the shower. No coffee and/or tea provided so we purchased our own. During our 4 night stay our room was cleaned once with fresh towels were provided, however this was enough for us as we kept the room neat.

Lovely staff! We we’re greeted by Peter and he was very friendly. We didn’t need to ask for anything throughout our stay but felt more than welcome to do so should we have needed anything. The location is brilliant, very close to Gerakas Beach (Turtle Beach), Banana Beach and a few tavernas. The room is lovely and clean, comfy bed and pillows, nice decor, good storage space and facilities (e.g., hairdryer) and HUGE TV with Netflix etc. The balcony is large and looks out onto the olive trees and the sea. It was wonderful watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee in the morning. There are also some very adorable cats around the property which were an added bonus!

Very nice and friendly hosts, great location, comfortable and very clean room. Beautiful view from the balcony over the surrounding olive tree garden. Very close to Porto Roma Beach and Gerakas Beach and the Sea Turtle Rescue & Information Center. Perfect place if you like a peaceful and quiet environment. Bonus points: the Bus stop is only a few meters from the place. Thank you for a nice stay!

The bathroom was very small and the shower absolutely tiny! Didn't feel like the shower itself was particularly clean as the shower curtain clearly hadn't been changed for a while. That was the only downside though as the rest of the room was very nice.

The room and the views were very nice. Location was perfect as well as there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. Beds very comfortable.

If you don't have a car it was a bit far to reach a supermarket.

The pictures are misleading, actually the rest of the apartment is old and not repaired, even the bare minimum that could be done for a better stay. There is not a insect net at the balcony door, so you have to stay with the windows or the shutters always closed because of the mosquitos, which helps with the spread of inside insects. The worst problem of the flat is that is full of bugs. One morning I saw a light brown insect that seemed to be a bed bug and saw a bad bite on my body. In the evening I looked carefully with the phone light and realize the bed was full of fleas, about 10-12 I killed in 10 minutes and 2 had blood in them. The same night the host had insisted to change the bed the next day, so I let him changed it, probably it was not changed when I came since after 2 days he insisted on changing everything. After that, I only saw about 2 fleas, put insect spray all over the bed and slept with light on and in stress. The only hope is that it was not a bed bug what I saw and I would not take it with me, although on the new sheets he put on you could see some old marks that seemed to be bed bug excrements. It is hard to think he did not have any clue about this problems. Since the price was for a 3-4 star hotel, 100 euro/night, I considered this experience as a hoax. Seems like lately, hosts in Greece are interested only in taking more money from tourists and hosting them in a stable if possible, so my next stop in Greece will be for sure a hotel. Aditionally, the bathroom is very small and inconfortable, the balcony chairs are not confortable at all, you can barely sit on them, the room is quite small and the too big TV does not help you when you are on vacantion.

Location is close to the beaches, the bus station is just near the villa. The owner seems nice.

The apartment is surrounded by olive trees and we saw the sea from our balcony. There is not noise , you can just listen the relaxing cicadas song. Air condition works perfectly, the bed was comfortable and there was a new big tv. Maria and Anton are people’s heart, very kind and friendly. They helped us for everything and respect our spaces. We highly recommend!!!!!

Extremely small bathroom. If you sit on the toilet your right arm is in the shower. There is no sound isolation. You can here everything form the other rooms, and when I say everything I mean even if they talk. If your neighbor wakes up at 7 and you want to sleep late, it is imposible.. The location is not as close to the șea as they say. There are many more things to say.. Was the worst experience in Greece so far.
