Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaYou can see a lot of signs of wear and tear around the house - it could use a bit of refresh. Missing shower curtains, several lights not working and the doors not closing easily. Still, the biggest remark is a loud dehumidifier (needed because of the indoor pool) which is turned on during most of the day. Over time, you get used to it, and overnight it is off, so you get a needed silence for a good night sleep, but during the day I would prefer it to be much quieter. Unfortunately it doesn't even do its work well and you can sense a bit of moist in the house and sometimes you can see it on windows. I am hoping that these remarks will adjust future visitors' expectations so that they enjoy even more the Villa Meliti. Despite its shortcomings it is still a very nice place to stay.
This is a beautiful nicely located apartment/house. I just loved how the entire place was designed and we enjoyed our time there. House is fully equipped and you will find everything you need for your stay (soap, toiletries, hairdryer, iron, etc.). There is a nice outdoor atrium and a balcony if you want to stay outside or smoke. You will find interesting shops, cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood, and getting to/from this place to main attractions in Athens, by car, on foot or by taxi/transportation is easy.

We had a great stay. Transport with minivan from airport was good. The host was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. All rooms of the apartment were very good; pool, kitchen, rooftop space and lot of sitting locations

NetherlandsProperty needs updating. Comfortable chairs upstairs would be nice.
Four bedrooms house as advertised. Two bathrooms - one with bath only. The shower was not attached to the wall which is a slight inconvenience. The ‘comfortable’ seating is downstairs but the sofas are back to back and not ideal for a HK group of six to sit and talk. To sit and talk, it is necessary to sit on seriously uncomfortable metal chairs at the dining table. The outside patio is OK and ashtrays are provided if you smoke. The kitchen is fully equipped but between the six of us we could not figure out how the microwave component of the integrated convection oven worked. It did turn on and rotate but items did not heat up. The bedrooms - split across two floors are more than adequate although the downstairs rooms were somewhat musty but opening the sliding doors soon resolved that. In terms of location, it is in an upcoming bohemian area and only 15 minutes walk from the Ermou district which has some excellent restaurants and bars. In addition, the local supermarket is very good and only three minutes walk away. Overall a perfectly adequate house that that requires some upgrading and is in a decent location. The photographs do not reflect reality but are not a total fabrication; it is just that the property is worn since they were taken. Rating 7.5 out of 10.
