“Great value for money. Beautiful clean room, friendly staff. Great location. Apparently breakfast is great, but I had to check out early for a trek. Would 100 % recommend.”

“Colonial style Hotel, beautiful room decor. Wide parking space (indoor)”

  • The Black Cat Review Score: 8.7

“The place has a great location right by Parque Central. Amazing breakfast (I recommend the large burrito.. but I only stayed for 1 night and tried that one). The food and drinks are cheap, the beds are fine. It has great wifi - a luxury in Guatemala! Definitely great value for 65Q considering a breakfast like that would normally cost 30 or 35Q anyways. Highly recommend”

“the location is great and for the price the rooms are OK but it is a hostal not a hotel. Has self cooking facilities and the rooms are large with multiple beds .”

  • “The private room had a great bed and excellent amount of space. The hostel is in a central location in Xela”

“Excellent value for money, the apartment was relatively basic (no sofa/living room/TV; there's a bedroom, kitchen/diner and bathroom) but comfortable and there are great views across the city from the roof terrace or the balcony if you're on one of the higher floors. Having a water filtering machine on the ground floor saves huge amounts of time and hassle buying and lugging around bottled water. The location is not incredibly central but it's not far from the centre either, and I never had any trouble walking home alone late at night (1am, 3am). The apartments are on a kind of private street with a locking door on to the main street, which made them feel pretty secure. Although there was no automatic replacement, the host brought me fresh bed sheets when I asked (roughly every two weeks) and didn't make any charge.”
