You are not in one of the towns. We were ok with that, it added to the beauty and peacefulness.

Location was phenomenal with perfect view of Volcano San Pedro and stunning views of the lake. They also provide complimentary SUPs and Kayaks. The owner is present on site and very friendly engaging with the guests.

Nothing for me

I can confidently say this is one of the top 3 places I've ever stayed in my life! The location, the staff, the food, the scenery—and the hot tub—were all incredible. It was a truly rejuvenating experience. This place has super nice energy, And gosh,, the dinner was the best!!! Also, the manager sisi was very kind and welcoming us also gave us information on time. I would love to go back very soon

The room was quite damp, even the bed clothes were a little damp after a few days. A dehumidifier would be a great addition and make the room 10/10. Location is a little awkward for getting groceries, and there's not much going on within walking distance. But it's very chill and there are regular boats if you want to go to another town on the lake.

Really nice room with everything you need to relax at the lake and cater for yourself. The staff were great and very helpful. Views over the lake are amazing.

The pillows need to be replaced, going to the town of Santa cruz takes 20 minutes walk looks impossible to walk by foot

Visitors should be aware that the lodge is accessible only with boats. This actually an advantage because the isolation is part of the charm. But private boat rides come with costs.

It is a beautiful place in the quiet side of the lake, charming rooms and a great restaurant. The views of the lake and the walking trail are stunning.

The communications w transportation arrangements could've been approved, it took hours to get a response so we ended up arrange everything last minute w inflated rates and had to spare all our cashes.

It's everything I've wanted, tranquil, serene, comfort and relaxed, one of my best experiences at lake atitlan! Very inspired by the owner's story/life at the lake! I stayed 2 night at the studio and it has everything that I needed. The restaurant offers pretty good options.

The two docks and Sun loungers and communal hot tub were a bit more scruffy/weathered than in the pictures. Not sure if this was due to it being the end of the main tourist season, or perhaps some bad weather. Also the hot tub in our apartment on the balcony was dependent on there being enough hot water to fill it, which there wasn’t. So it’s probably better as a cold plunge in hot weather 😅 Finally, there were lots of dead fish in the lake. Not the properties fault but was just a bit sad to see.

We really liked it here. Was great to have a private dock and terrace with access to paddle boards and kayaks. We stayed in the treehouse apartment which was gorgeous and definitely one of the nicest apartment of our 6 month trip. It was very clean and well stocked kitchen with all the appliances and crockery for cooking at home. Best to do a big shop at the supermarket on Panajachel as there is nothing in Santa Cruz and it’s about a 35 minute walk away.

We stayed in the studio and just loved it!!! It was beautiful, and charming. Incredible views of the volcanos. A stunning walk to Santa Cruz town. The paddle boards were a treat. We loved everything about our stay.

Stunning location. Loved our room and balcony. Wonderful sun loungers looking over the lake. The room was big and airy with a breathtaking view of the lake and volcanoes. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and well appointed. The restaurant food was delicious although understandably a little limited in choice. I believe our room (GS Studio) was about to be renovated. Small updates could make a huge difference e.g. no wardrobe space and the cupboard doors and drawers didn’t open. The patio doors were really stiff. The kitchen utensils needed updating. The WiFi password wasn’t obvious. All minor issues which didn’t detract from our stay.

Getting there from the dock is confusing, even with very precise directions.

Incredible view, exactly what you hope for. Connected to a walking path to the nearest town and restaurants. On site restaurant also a good option.

It is apartment style so you do have to clean up a bit (i.e. wash dishes) before you check-out. They make it seem like they'll charge you extra if you don't clean up adequately.

Stunning property with a few happy but elusive resident cats. Although there are limited choices at the restaurant, the food is fresh and tasty. They make the bread from scratch every morning! The common areas are never crowded so you can always find spaces to lounge, read a book, get away from the sun if you need to. It's about a leisurely 20 minute walk on the shore line from the main town - the path was well maintained and felt safe (although parts aren't very well-lit at night). I would absolutely stay again and do highly recommend.

The water at the hot tub could not get hot and they didnt fix it even though we complained several times.
