Wish a 6 a.m. restaurant porch coffee bar was available for early risers and that workers in the restaurant arrived earlier so that when it opened at 7 they were ready to start taking breakfast orders or at lease have the coffee ready.

It was an adventure is a well planned and groomed tropical garden on the shoreline of Guatemala's most alluring and dramatic lake....wonderful view of the lake and the nearby town!

Amazing place with incredible view! Staff is really helpful and accommodating! They were super flexible and moved my booking when I had issues with my flight. Beds are really great, really high quality mattresses and bedsheets. I loved the attention to details in a room, and waking up with a beautiful view is definitely a plus. Service is really high quality as well! The area is really lush and has variety of birds.

This was the best hotel I have every stayed at. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The property is gorgeous, even better than the pictures. And they had the best food and drinks I had my whole trip. Would definitely come back to Guatemala just to stay here!

The jacuzzi jets are not strong.(common area) The little pool in the bungalow deceived me The picture. shows water but does do not allow to see that only a third of what you see is the pool, so it is more like a hot jacuzzi with no jets Too bad they did not make it bigger. They had the space.

The location was fantastic, with stunning gardens and a beautiful lake view. The food was delicious, and the staff was amazing—super helpful and friendly. It was easy to get a tuk-tuk into town, and the hotel even helped arrange boat rides to nearby towns. The only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was spotty at best for the first two days, and completely unavailable in my room for the last two.

The staff was so kind and helpful. Diego on staff also leads several tours and his tours were phenomenal! The landscaping was so beautiful, food at restaurant top notch. They let us check out very late as our room was free that night, which we reallllly appreciated.

We stayed at the rooms at the back, nearer the road and pool and they were kinda dark and stuffy. Not the worst but we'll definitely choose to stay facing the lake next time.

I've been to the lake plenty of times but never stayed here. Wow, whatta place! Beautiful gardens, lovely setting and the staff are incredible. This is a family run place and it really shows - lovely atmosphere and everyone was so so kind.

Relaxed and very friendly helpful staff. Incredible views of the lake- took my breath away every time I looked out the window. We appreciate how well they looked after us, with a personal touch, remembering our names and preferences. The baby cot provided for free was amazing and just perfect. Sauna is AMAZING- so hot!! Comfortable bed!

This hotel is absolutely incredible. We felt like we were in a 5 star not a 3 star hotel. The staff are the loveliest & most helpful people and from start to finish our stay was magical. We will definitely remember it forever it’s a beautiful authentic place with modern facilities, elite attention to detail .. the food is also amazing and a we were spoilt for choice! The lake view is fabulous. Staff are all super nice and friendly people. Our car tyre broken down after terrible driving conditions that caused us anxiety but Leonardo and Lydia went extra miles helping us get things arranged and fixed so that we could move forward our next destination. Our huge salute to the Bambu team who kept us staying positive during our eventful experience.
