We were in the room near the front door and it was quite noisy in the mornings hearing people bang the metal door and chatting while leaving. We didn’t get the best sleep and so I probably would look for somewhere else to sleep if I stayed in Flores again.

Good location, comfortable beds / AC worked well. Access to kitchen and free water was excellent.

I don't think it can be helped, it is local culture. But, be prepared to use a shower head that heats the water as it passes through. Lower water pressure at maximum temperature resulted in the best temperature. This is a small issue, because otherwise the hotel was great.

Eating breakfast on the roof top was enjoyable. Inexpensive quality food. (Guatemala traditional breakfast, Desayuna Traditional).

Very good value for money with a large, clean and comfortable room. the kitchen is the cleanest shared kitchen I’ve ever seen and the staff are friendly and helpful. Wish we’d stayed longer!

This hostel is in a wonderful location in Flores, close to many shops, restaurants, and views. I cannot speak highly enough of Rosario, who works at the front desk and supported us with booking tours, all our questions about what to do around Flores, and transportation. She was incredibly kind and helpful when my friend got food poisoning and severe dehydration and had to go to the hospital, arranging an ambulance to take us there and then coming to get us in a taxi at 1:30am once we were done. She was also accommodating in extending our stay due to my friend's illness. The rooms have nice AC, there is a kitchen, and the patio has a lovely view. We also got breakfast at the hostel, which was very filling and inexpensive. I would give this place 100 stars if I could! Thank you for everything ❤️

Family who run it were very friendly and the owner stayed up late for our arrival after our flight was severely delayed. Great location in Flores with pretty view of the water. Comfortable and clean rooms with well equipped kitchen and free drinking water.

Honestly this is no fault to the property, but it was insanely hot when we were there and because the rooms are so big the AC doesn’t really cool down the space.

Not much I didn't like. I mean there were some people outside doing fireworks and it was loud but that's beyond the hotels control. So besides that nothing.

It's clean, it's comfortable, everyone is so nice and loved that it had AC in the room. It was so comfy and felt very much like home. I would go back to stay.

Only thing to mention is there is a bit of a mark up on booking tours and shuttles through the guesthouse so maybe worth shopping around if you are on a budget

Lovely guesthouse on Isla de Flores, excellent value for money, very clean, good a/c and lovely roof terrace where you can get breakfast too. The staff are very friendly and can help organise tours and onwards shuttles.

There was a window to the main passageway and so much light cam into the room all night.

The hotel was very nice. The room was small but comfortable. And the ac worked great. The community kitchen was awesome, as we could cook our own meals.

The property is like pictured, the room is very big! The staff were very nice. Access to a kitchen, drinking water at all times, tours and laundry service, as well as a rooftop hang out spot with a gorgeous view. Good restaurants nearby!

It didn’t really bother us but beware that at least the shared bathroom rooms go off the kitchen/eating area. It was always quiet at night and there wasn’t much happening there so it didn’t bother us!

We had a really comfortable short stay at Casa Maya Itza to explore Tikal. Heard a lot of stories about bad accommodations in Flores, so we were very happy this one was great! The location is perfect, close to the water but in a quiet street. The room was comfortable and the AC very good. The shared bathroom was always clean. They also have a little rooftop with nice views! We organised all our tours and transport here. It was cheaper than anywhere else and we always got picked up right at the hotel. The staff always woke up to make sure we got picked up, which was very sweet! Overall, very good base for Tikal, nothing wrong here!
