Room hast only a window to the hallway and the curtains are to small. persons over 180cm Hight can Just Look in our room at all Times which was a bit uncomfortable.

Hostel is noisy, but you can get earplugs. Shower is ok, but an electrician would be scared of electric installation. Room walls need repainting. Lighting is very basic - just a light bulb. Room is small, but it's a hostel so don't expect much. No air conditioner, but fan helped

You can't go wrong with location in Flores. Morning coffee and toast were nice. Staff is super. Wifi was great.

Nothing the hostel could do but during our stay there was some incredibly obnoxious people that didn’t care about anyone else staying there, talking loudly at 4:30 in the morning!

The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind during our stay. They were happy to help with absolutely anything and did so with a smile. Even some complimentary breakfast in the mornings and held our bags for the whole day after we checked out.

The room was a bit small, the mattress very uncomfortable with spirals hitting your back There was not sink in the bathroom so you have to wash your hands and teeth in the laundry basin ( disgusting) The breakfast was very basic

No natural light in the rooms They told us we were allowed to wash clothes but they took our wet clothes off the line and just threw them on a chair so everything was smelly. We had to wash everything again.

Please mark all the steps in the corridor to be visible in the darkness - I got up very early for a Tikal trip and getting from my room to the door through the completely dark corridor was tricky (and there are few steps)

Two issues: the shower is a bit of a hazard, if you try to alter the shower temperature after you and the shower are wet, then you can get a mild electric shock from the shower head. We've used these kinds of shower heads many times, but this is the first time getting electrocuted. The other one is that the rooms have no sound proofing, so you can hear conversations from all of the rooms down the corridor if people speak loudly. Not much to be done about that, just be aware...

The staff here are great, very communicative and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, comfy beds and pillows, warm shower was great (one negative though, see below). Great location, but then again the island is so small anywhere on the island is convenient! We booked a tour to Tikal through the hostel, and this was seamless, so that made our time there even easier.

There was no glass in the windows in our room, just WindowBlinds so you could hear everything happening outside/ in other rooms

The hostel is well-located, staff was very helpful. We were getting up very early each day and despite that we got breakfast.

It was quite noisy here so struggled to sleep. A cockerel woke us up at 4am every morning and wouldn’t stop every 15 minutes, don’t know if it belongs to them or a neighbouring property but at times it felt like it was only meters away. And then by 7am the cleaners were cleaning and talking loud, so it was hard to sleep in here.

Great location and staff were very friendly. Room was ok with a ceiling fan.

It is not very well isolated so we hear everything from the neighbours. We found some insects on the floor and on the bed.

Good location on the island. Clean rooms, staff helpful. Morning coffee is welcome. Just to note - payment by cash only, no cards and Tikal is also cash only. (Unfortunately, the ATMs in Guatemala don’t seem to be free and 3%ish seems normal). As well as big buses to Tikal, there were colectivos from the bus station.

There are no outside windows, all internally and you can hear everything, not sure why they started cleaning so loudly at 7am but the place was super clean despite being run down

We loved it here, extended one night extra as the bed was so comfy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Marcus who despite neither of us speaking each others language, he would make us chuckle! Soo good to have free breakfast and coffee for the price of the room

There were some very noisy guests but this isn’t the hostal’s fault…

The staff was very helpful. It is good value for money, well located. We left very early but still could enjoy some breakfast.
