The guy that was working in the morning told me to take an Uber across town to catch a bus to Coban and he gave me the wrong directions and I shouldn't have listened to him because it cost me $20 to take a taxi down and back to get to the bus stop that was actually just a block away from the hotel!

At first it seemed like it was going to be loud, but after it gets dark the street quiets down. We had Netflix but there was a problem with the sound so we had to watch it with no sound and subtitles but maybe that is why it was so quiet.

The friendly and helpful welcome of the staff even though we had language barriers, they went out of their way assisting me finding the next supermarket and cheap trip to Antigua. Once I checked out they kept my luggage free of charge until 8pm so I could go and visit Antigua until the departure of my bus. I really really appreciated that. Thank you so much.

The room that I was assigned to was tiny and could barely move around it, even the toilet space is really small for a tall or overweight person... The bed sheets were worn out and have seen better times in the past... Pillows are awful... Cost-benefit relationship non existent...

The location is good for strolling around Zona 1...

It''s a bit a hassle to get in and out, cause of security reasons. Lack of english knowledge from reception guy, the rooms are not very soundproof.

It could use some upgrades. Everything is quite old and outdated. Some outlets in the room don't even work. The area isn't the safest either.

Staff was nice and helpful. Bed was comfortable. It was close to the bus station to get to Flores.

The bathroom is too small, but the shower is large the noise carry out from the room window and you can hear everyone talking like they in your room, there is noise in mornings , the WiFi stop for a day, you have to wait to buzz the door every time you go in or out

Location is ten minutes away from Centro, the room is well equipped with large dresser and chair and two beds, they provide hot water and new towels or clean the room if you ask, they are friendly and professionals attitude, great TV with Netflix, Disney plus, TV and more, the bed is very good and there is hot water with good pressure the price is good for what you get

Walls are very thin so noise travels a lot. Supposed to be free drinking water but none was available when we stayed.

Used this for a quick overnight stay before catching a bus the next day. It served its purpose. The room was fine, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly.

Bad experience. I showed the hotel manager that they charged 4 times the contracted night. To this day they refuse to refund the 3 unexpected charges. I can't find a channel in Booking to intercede for me. I will not use Hotel Metropolitano Guatemala again nor do I recommend Booking.com

I wish there was a possibility to make my self a cup of coffee

I was able to store my Backpack so I could travel with a smaller backpack for a few weeks. I offered pay but they were good enough to let me leave it for free.
