They need a small floating deck for swimmers with slip resistant steps to get back to shore The water can get choppy A slip resistant, lightweight, hygienic and economical self-draining surface would be a welcome addition.

Despite the reputation and everything else being amazing, I was a bit under whelmed by other aspects. The service when having food was noticeably slow which I wouldn't normally mind but when paying for a premium place you'd expect more. The beds were really firm which in my opinion made it uncomfortable and our particular room was quite cramped. I now know that's it's possible to purchase a day pass to access the grounds which I would happily have done instead.

The buildings, gardens and location are incredible and the whole complex has a really nice feel to it. There are loads of nice areas to admire the view and relax, including patios, balconies and hammocks. The rooms are beautifully decorated and display Mayan traditional artworks. It is very quick and easy to here by boat from Panajachel for 25 Qtzl (as a tourist).

Absolutely stunning property. The landscaping was to die for! We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the terraces and had a very comfortable stay in our room. The food was delicious too! Lovely spot.

The stairs are very steep, I didn’t realize upon arriving. The stairs have sensors for lights, but sometimes they didn’t turn on and it became dangerous. The facilities (shower and bathroom) are outside, so they were very buggy majority of the time.

I loved how beautiful the property was! It felt like I was living in fairy wonderland all week. There is so much greenery, very peaceful, lots of areas to enjoy the views, sun, and water.

Highly advised to include more beach chairs at the swimming area or more comfortable chairs. Food was great but a bit expensive. No wifi in the rooms.

The hotel was amazing the views the rooms everything for a really good price the only thing is that I couldn’t get a bigger room because the hotel is booked all year long so make sure to look for a round with many months ahead.

I didn’t mind the stairs, but this would not be a great place for people who are very overweight. From the dock to the restaurant, the stairs are very steep. It’s probably over 50 feet from the dock to the restaurant.

Beautiful facility, Amazing gardens. everything on the menu is delicious. There are little spots for relaxation. I don’t know exactly but I think there were more than 10 hammocks around the property. We were there in the first week of March. There were tons of butterflies and beautiful birds.

I had written property in advance that it was our anniversary and that I hoped to have a double bed and not the room with twin beds. I also requested a reservation for the wood fired out tub. I wrote them again a few days before we arrived but when we checked in were told that it was going to be a twin room and that there was no availability for the hot tub. They said that I had not confirmed the hot tub which I believe I had done. I spoke to other guests who had been given room upgrade and was a bit disappointed that we did not get what we asked for. The property itself was so fabulous that in the end it didn't matter.

The facilities were amazing. The property was so beautiful. There were gorgeous plants, trees and flowers and wonderful little nooks all over the property to sit and see the lovely water and volcanoes in the distance. The food was fantastic -bright and fresh and beautifully presented.
