Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pool is quite small

The food options at EATON HK were great which also included a Michelin restaurant which I would strongly recommend going for its dim sum. The bar on the 4th floor also had great cocktails. The rooms were clean and well kept.

I don’t like the check in counter location on the ground floor. Have to go out before getting onto the elevators.

I wish prices were lower for all the services but this is Hong Kong, so take it or leave it
The hotel delivers on its pledge and everything is well thought-through and organized. I am a bit more on the old-school side, sotend toi reluctantly accept hipster-hue twists but thanks God, the Eaton walks the fine line, without trying an overkill in this respect. I must commend the management team for a superb operation of the whole team- from the concierge, to reception, to cleaning, to security, and to F&B, of course (at this point, my special thanks go to Mr. Ng at the Astor who does a great job managing an excellent on-site dining spot abd being super-attentive and efficient when it comes to patrons' needs). At the Eaton, you really feel taken care for and can hope for a great standard of services. Perhaps, for those coming to see the glitzy Hong Kong the area may seem a bit worn-out but that's Kowloon, after all.

Didn't like that the room was sold as a city view room but we didn't get a view of the city at all. Also, the rollaway bed in the room was extremely hard so the third guest ended up having to sleep on the sofa. Not worth the money we paid for the room. Need to improve on the quality of the beds when there's so much charged for the room.
Liked that the room was spacious and with well lit lighting.

Great breakfast but not included in room price and not cheap.
Good location. Rooms are small but I guess that’s standard in HK. Big Hotel that is super stylish but a bit older.

The bathroom's shower head was in a very awkward position, it kept twisting while showering.
Good location - 7 min straight walk to Jordan stn. Room was clean, spacious for a HK unit, walls were soundproof. Bed was comfortable. Close to many good eating spots!

On March 28, 2024, I stayed in 1012 which was comfortable for mom who used wheelchair. But on March 31, 2024, I stayed at 1002 for this room it was smaller than 1012 and was not comfortable for my mom.
My family and I agree that your location is better than The Langham.

The elevators were a bit inefficient. The process of inserting your room card to press your floor in a very crowded, small elevator was a reality show challenge in itself.
It had a very cool, youthful, and creative vibe to it. The room was small but it had everything you needed.

The wifi cut out once an hour which wasn’t helpful when trying to work. It was ok otherwise. There wasn’t a cafe so I ended up using the cafe in the hotel across the road (Stage hotel). It was really great though and I appreciated that it was a very short walk. Some bits a bit outdated like the lift card scanner, the control panel in the bedroom and the outdoors entrance.
Good location, although it’s a short walk to the MTR and bus stops. It was very interesting exploring this side of town and the hotel is perfectly located for TST, YMT, Mong Kok and Jordan. The room was well decorated and comfortable. There is a desk as well. I would recommend it for solo travellers or couples who are spending most of their time separate or outside of the room. There are a lot of restaurants, which is convenient. There is also a pool and gym.

The location was great, not far from major subway stations and right next to the night market and places to eat. The breakfast was great. The rooms were neat. We loved the place and can only recommend it!

Elevators can be slow
Terrific breakfast to for all tastes. Only place I know that provides hand pressed carrot/apple juice at breakfast. Helpful concierge to locate taxis. WiFi fine. Rooms and beds comfortable

Counter staff is not very friendly. They don’t even look at u when talk, and answer your questions robotically without any sense of care or attention.
