To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SingaporeCleanliness of room. Was given 1 that had toilet bowl leakage. Thankfully, got changed to a much better room. Bathroom is quite small. And who would use smooth surface homogeneous tiles for bathroom shower area? I slipped and fell badly. Fellow travelers, pls use the bath mat provided.
Location! Tram and bus stop at door step, MTR is just short walk on right hand side. Lots of eateries around, supermarket across the road. 24/7 McDonald's downstairs

SingaporeThe door is too heavy and can't be left open which is inconvenient for the 2 Bedroom Suite + staying with kids. The aircondition in one of the room wasn't working right, it will not go higher than 23 degree celcius so we got to off it completely each time we wanted the room warmer. The hotel staff unable to fix it. Rooms prob need some fixing and better maintenance (wallpaper coming off here and there, the faux leather of the bed stand peeling off, etc).
Location is perfect for foodies. Lots of eateries around with a 1 star Michelin restaurant just right behind the hotel. Simple bfast available daily in the lounge (bread & pastries) with butter and jams, coffee, tea and water free for guests to consume. Walking distance to Wan Chai MTR (A4 exit is probably the closest).
