The view.

The staff. Very rude and not helpful. Also the rooms are very old and the bathroom have mold.

The only things I enjoyed were the beach and the entertainment.

The property was filthy, with garbage everywhere and a noticeable presence of bees and flies. It felt like there were issues with staff service, including delays at the buffet, difficulty getting drinks and limited English communication. The rooms and facilities were dilapidated with visible damage, bats in the ceiling, and poorly maintained pools. WiFi is only available in the lobby which made staying connected difficult. Overall, the property did not match the polished image advertised online. I would not stay here again.

The location is amazing the beach is beautiful and walking around is easy and fun with all the local animals! The staff near the bar were the best and the DJ was playing all the best music! Activities offered at the beach 10/10

The rooms are quite outdated, a full body mirrors would help a lot and a table to set things down. Also the TVs need updating too they are old and you can’t watch your shows. No wifi in the eating area which sucks. The staff would forget about our drinks

Everything when I got in the room, I noticed there were ants everywhere. But I try not make a big deal I left the room and went to get something to eat when I got back the ants were everywhere in the ceiling the bed. I packed up all my stuff and my kids and left the room and ask to switch which they did and it was actually a better room thank goodness

My first time was 25 years ago. I love the place..over the years it failed to keep current with its maintenance. The cabins should be bulldozed and made over .it is deplorable. The showers has fungus& mold

Fantasy Island is a great place to bring a young family. They had plenty of food to chose from. For Breakfast they had scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast, local food and fruits. The coffee was dark and excellent. The pizza at the snack bar was excellent, they also had ham and cheese hot dogs and hamburgers. Dinner had plenty of entrees and salad bar. We had room 204 and 205 which were closest to the main lobby on the second floor. The beds were fine and the 2nd floor had high ceilings. The activity center had extra sand toys for the kids and floats. They also had Zumba, volleyball, soccer, mini golf, kayaks and night time activities. We bought our own rafts which I always do and love. Although many of the guests only speak Spanish we had a good time testing our communication in our limited Spanish. This goes a long way with meeting the staff and other guests. The beer was in cans and were always Ice cold. The pina coladas were very good, they even made a papaya smoothe that we added rum to and it was excellent. The beach was excellent for the young grandkids who were 5 months and 2 yr old. We were sure to get a palapa early before the day trip guests arrived on the week days. The pool was great for them as well but did tend to get a little hot by the end of the day, so we went to the far pool in the mid afternoon. The staff were great especially Caroline at the Bar and Emilse at the snack bar.

At first we did not think we had hot water but it depends on the time of day I think. We were fine with warm water after a day on the beach in the evening. We did take showers before leaving in the morning and the water was much warmer. Dinner could have have more cooked vegetables on the menu. When traveling I am wary of eating salads but my family who did, didn't have any problems. The docks were unfortunately closed, but they were doing major repairs on them, which meant they were still making improvements to the property. Hopefully they will continue to make improvements to the property and bring it back to it's Glory with some TLC.

We had an early check out. The hotel was not near to what was advertised online

The facilities are dated and not up to date with technology. Bathrooms were moldy and no hot water. WiFi did not work. Two of my family members got food poisoning

No wifi in my room had to keep going to the lobby , leakes in my room no hot water, most of staff no bi lingual and didn't know how to properly explain when checking in.

I did not stay at the property. They were late for my pickup time and when we arrived to the property they didn’t have Air conditioning and didnt offer WiFi in their rooms. They only offered WiFi in the restaurant and lobby.

They didn’t have air conditioning and very irresponsible at picking me up. They were one hour late at pick up.

The Beach area was excellent clean and very enjoyable. Room cleaning staff was excellent! Dive Shop was very good, helpful, informative and very reasonable price.

The hotel was rundown out of date and in need of repairs. Windows wouldn’t close letting in mosquitoes etc. No coffee in room 50 to 60 yard walk one way to get coffee in lobby. Buffet area was upstairs and like a sauna very uncomfortable and long lines. Basically the same menu every morning, noon and night. We stayed 12 nights and only had 3 nights with hot water for showers due to staff turning off because of pump issues so we were told. No service at pool or beach area another 50 to 60 yard walk one way to get refreshments.
