Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomUnfortunately the electrical socket for the bedside lamp didn't work or else the bedside lamp needs a new bulb, I forgot to let Viki know.
The location is wonderful, very easy access to Old Town and local buses. Just great being able to walk everywhere, my calves have never been so exercised! All the steps certainly aided me in meeting my daily cardio/step count! Wonderful to sit out on terrace enjoying a glass of local wine and the view on warm barmy evenings before and after evening explorations. Viki very helpful, she is even helping me track a lost item of clothing that was inadvertently left on a coach transfer. Fingers crossed.

MaltaSince it was too hot, as there was a heatwave, one AC was not enough. In Summer it would be ideal to have at least a fan in each bedroom. A toaster would have been ideal too. But on the whole, our stay was really good.
Our three night stay at Apartment Viki was really good. The view was amazing, especially in the morning. Very close to the Old Town and also to the beach. A bakery and mini-market close by.

FinlandThe equipment in the kitchen could be improved. We couldn´t fry eggs, because there wasn´t a proper frying pan. We also missed oven, coffeemaker and toaster.
Our 3 night visit was perfect in Vikis apartment. We were afraid that one AC unit wouldn´t be enough to cool down the whole apartment, but luckily we were wrong. The view is wonderful,

PhilippinesIt was a bit challenging to access the apartment while carrying suitcases as the alleys are all stairways.
The location was very central and the apartment has an amazing view. We spent most of our time at the patio as the view was just breath taking.

United Kingdomthe main reason we picked this apartment was that view in the pictures. well we never got to sit out and enjoy that view as we were awoken by drilling and cement mixing every morning from the noise of the building site next door. we were woken at 7AM the first 2 mornings and 6:20AM the 3rd morning!!! and they stayed until around 8pm at night so we couldn’t go back to relax in the day and even when we tried to eat our dinner outside we had 3 men on our side shovelling rocks onto the terrace roof In front . it’s basically like staying on a building site! to get out we had to run the gauntlet of constant diesel trucks bringing rubble and cement etc up the alleyway to the site next door. There are ants around the kitchen and bathroom area I bought a loaf of bread and within half an hour they were In the packaging and I only put it on kitchen side.
Had all amenities required bed comfortable kitchen was well equipped. perfect location only 5 minutes walk and your in the walls of the old town. bakery and supermarkets all within 10 mins walk. lady that met us was nice and explained everything and was lovely enough to arrange a taxi that met us at the airport and bought us straight there even tho we were early she let us check in.

United KingdomBeing woken every morning at 6:30-7:00am buy the banging out of the mixers and wheelbarrows followed by the use of power tools to drill, cut and grind every day in numerous properties around the apartment. I did enjoy not being able to sit and relax outside on the veranda due to the lack of privacy and dust, not to mention (again) the noise. Without letting the above influence how I view the apartment...Its adequate but needs upgrading...everything feels a bit...DIY. Whoever took the photos did a great job and if I ever sell my house I'll use them.
The Location was excellent, only spoilt by the view of the builders working on next doors property. The builders were nice and stopped working and moved their tools out of the way when we needed to get past, which unfortunately was every time we wanted to gain access along the walkways.

United Kingdom1. The owner wanted cash payment. She was rather aggressive when we told her don't carry cash and would rather pay in a different way. She took this badly and was rude to us. The welcome in general wasn't to our liking and we felt that it was very run of the mill and again, aggressive. 2. You should think twice before staying here in high season!! The AC is not AC and just moves warm air. It was 33 degrees during the day and 28 at night. It was impossible to sleep as the "AC" is located in a room where it has no use to you when you sleep! We mentioned on arrival the lack of AC in bedrooms and she snapped at us that it was "only 2 star". 3. The garden is run down and uncared for. 4. The house has an ant problem. They are in the kitchen and inside the toilet sink. 5. The property is rural and there are mosquitoes everywhere. If you're staying in June - September, I'd think very hard about how important sleep is to you.
The location is good but is high up and you have to walk up a lot of stairs to reach the property, which hampers your stay as you over sweat every time you leave the house - the air conditioning is very very poor so you don't get the cool relief you might expect. The views are great and the house is large.
