The apartment was perfect for our needs. Clean, fully equipped with all amenities plus added extras (wine, bread, cheese and ham on arrival. Homemade local produce on departure). Ira and her family went over and above to make it the perfect family holiday for us. Situated in the beautiful, peaceful town of Zaton, we had an idyllic stay with our 4 year old son who loved the stoney beaches and pool.

Hosts of this property are lovely and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Apartment is spotless and has everything you need for your stay. Ira, one of the hosts explained about the property and also gave us very good information about the nearby places. The property itself is 20 mins away from Dubrovnik by car and hence not crowded at all. You have couple of restaurants within walking distance. The place is well connected by buses to visit Dubrovnik. Veliki Zaton itself is a lovely village with possibilities to have a small hike in the forest or to take a walk next to sea the to Mali Zaton. The pool is very nice to swim and enjoy the sun, as the beaches around Zaton are pebbly. You should use swimming shoes. I lovely apartment to enjoy your holidays.

The property was perfect for our family of four. 2 adults and 2 young children. Beautiful roof terrace with spectacular views over the sea. We had the best time in Zaton which is absolutely stunning.

Zaton is very pretty. Everywhere is clean and there is a choice of several restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The pool is ideal, set in lovely gardens, with views to the mountains beyond. The apartment is basic but has everything you need.

What a wonderful 11 days we have just returned from. Villa Maurora was fantastic. Great location in the village, bright and modern apartment, lovely gardens, stunning views, but most of all the owners Ira and Ilia and their family couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable. Fabulous top floor apartment with large balcony overlooking the mountains - so beautiful. Garden with pool and shady areas under olive trees. 2 minute walk to pretty harbour with 4 restaurants and boat trips to Dubrovnik.

Apartment Maurora is a beautiful property in the small, green village of Zaton, which is really close to Dubrovnik's old town. There we found wild nature with cliffs and forests, as well as a waterfront avenue with restaurants and a small pier where we booked our three-island boat tour to Elafiti islands. The property was really clean and beautiful. The pool is big enough and nice enough for kids to swim in and have lots of fun! The second-floor apartment with the balcony has a stunning view of the mountains. The area around the property was quiet and felt really safe. The hosts of the Apartment Maurora are wonderful, super nice, and very helpful people! They truly care about their guests and made our stay very comfortable and homelike! If you are a family with kids, we really recommend staying in the apartment Maurora!

A great , fresh lace to stay. Very family friendly! The host Ira did that little extra to make it a pleasant stay. For instance providing some extra toys for the children making some of the rainier days easier. The surroundings (Zaton) has nice harbour area, some restaurants and a beatiful coastal line.

Everything was perfect

Located in a quiet village a few miles out of busy Dubrovnik. The perfect haven for chilling after a day sightseeing. The private pool was a bonus and we swam even though it was early May. The apartment was super clean and well equipped. Ira and family very welcoming - thanks for gift and homemade cakes!

There is nothing to fault with the apartment. Ours even had 2 bathrooms which is unusual for an apartment of that size. (Just one thing to note about the area if you haven't got a car - we had thought there was a small shop nearby but it was closed/doesn't operate any more (maybe only high season). Without a car you need to walk to Zaton Mali).

Hosts genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and are warm, welcoming and kind. Apartment is spotless and has everything you need.
