How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewBack home after a wonderful 9 days at this apartment. The hosts Gina and Petar are just amazing! Friendly welcoming helpful and make you feel instantly at home, even sharing homemade schnapps which was delish. The apartment is super clean, well equipped with a fridge dishwasher, washing machine and hob so everything you need. We slept so well. Beds are comfy with clean lovely bedding. The balcony is divine! The most stunning view, so very relaxing watching the sea, the boats and looking at the islands opposite. The pool is clean with plenty of loungers, lovely after a busy day exploring. Seget Donji is a cute village with lots of beach bars and restaurants. Beautiful beaches as well as the beach in front of the apartment which Gina and Petar provide loungers and a parasol for. It’s a short walk to Trogir which is a must see. Also from Trogir there are buses and boats to split and other islands. We hired bikes and cycled round Ciovo island. There is so much to do and this was the perfect base. A truly fabulous holiday, with the kindest hosts. We will most definitely be back.
There is nothing we would change. We already can’t wait to go back. Perfect!

Verified reviewWe have had a lovely week staying here with our two children. The apartment was 5* clean, although a little tired, which I quite liked, felt more authentic and homely. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. Great air conditioning. Perfect location, walked to Trogir a few times, local restaurants were lovely. We enjoyed sitting with Petar for beers and a little of his homemade schnapps!! Gina was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Gina and Petar
No parasol by the pool, but as Gina explained, it can get too windy on the coastline which we understood.

Verified reviewWe have spend wonderful few days in August. Apartament had everything we need and was optimal for family (two adult and two small kids). Extra points for the terrace with a beautiful view of the bay. Great localisation near the Trogir center (you can go by longer walk or take a boat taxi). Last but not the least - great hosts.

Verified reviewHosts are very welcoming, and very kind. The apartment is very well equipped, the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has perfect views of the sea, and is beautiful to sit out on at evening/ night and in the morning, as the sun faces all the time. The swimming pool is perfect too. Thankyou. The walk to Trogir, 25 mins, is a long a main road, but there are many bakeries and supermarkets along the road. Petar , the host also helped us book a kayaking trip, which was helpful, and Gina let us eat grapes from the vines that grow around the house, what a treasure! Thank you so much Gina and Petar, it's not often I f Ind somewhere I want to return to, but this is it!!!

Verified reviewGina and Peter were the perfect hosts for our 2 week honeymoon stay. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and generous with their time. The accommodation was perfectly placed, a 20 minute walk to Trogir and 5 or 6 great restaurants within a few minutes walk from the apartment. Cooking and washing facilities within the apartment were very handy. Stunning views from the balcony that you could never tire of. Water taxi’s in to Trogir within a 5 minute walk. A great swimming pool for cooling off in while sunbathing on the private terrace. We can’t wait to visit again.
Can’t think of anything that we didn’t like, it was all amazing.

Verified reviewA lovely well equipped clean bungalow, everything we needed to make light meals. The terrace is perfect to sit in the shade. The pool is perfect to cool off, the beach is across the track and sunbeds/parasols are provided. The village has places to eat if you don't want to venture the 20min walk to town. Gina & Petar were lovely hosts and on hand to help with any queries and requirements and share their knowledge. They are a very social couple. Gina provides mosquito plugs with tablets but bring plenty of spray, as the hosts can NOT prevent these pesky things.

Verified reviewLovely location and great views from the terrace.
No air conditioning or fans in the bedrooms which made it unbearable to sleep at night. Had to request a fan, but only one was offered which was noisy and just blew hot air around the room. Shower head kept falling off. Shower curtain was cheap and flimsy so the bathroom floor was always wet and slippy after showering. No cleaning, bed change or towel change for the duration of our stay. No TV in one of the apartments (as advertised). Dangerous electric heater above the door in the small bathroom. Overall, the apartment was dated and in need of a makeover.

Verified reviewthe view, the short walk into Trogir, pretty much on the flat, beach 15 mtrs away with provided umbrellas and sun beds. lovely village with great restaurants. Parking right next to apartment, Really lovely pool. Gina and Peta were gracious and charming hosts. I can thoroughly recommend staying here
the only small thing is that the apartment really could do with more shade on the balcony. Gina explained they couldn't provide umbrellas as the wind was too strong but if they could resolve this issue the place would be absolutely perfect

Verified reviewGina and Peter are fantastic hosts, they are very helpful, and informative. The apartment is beautiful, the view is outstanding. I would spend many an hour Dolphin watching and just watching the boats, yachts sail by. The apartment is situated in an ideal spot. The pool is lovely and spent most afternoons in the pool. A beautiful beach lined with fig trees and flowering shrubs just a few steps away. Only 15 to 20 minutes walk into Trogir. The marina is next door. It was lovely walking around seeing all the different yachts. Plenty of bars and restaurants all within walking distance . We had a perfect stay and are looking forward to seeing our perfect hosts next year

Verified reviewGreat location apartment, first row to the Adriatic sea with semi private beach (since there are no private beaches in Croatia). The views from the balcony are spectacular, the house is at the end of the "no exit" street, so no cars or trucks traffic whatsoever, meaning it's very quiet even with a big "Baotic Marina" next door. The apartment has everything you need, even including a laundry machine. Walking distance to a few restaurants and grocery stores and bakery. Also, walking distance to the old Town of Trogir and the open fruits market. The accommodation was awesome, but what made our stay memorable was "friendly croatian people" ,we truly enjoyed our lazy relaxing times sitting on a veranda with a glass of wine, having long conversations about our life in Canada and their life in Croatia with the owner/host Gina, Petar, Barba Ivan and Alfi (the cat). And that is what we will remember the most about our stay at "Apartments Gina"
We were sad we had to leave, after beautiful 7 days at "Apartments Gina" 😞
Thank you guys, looking forward to seeing you again. ApG

Verified reviewWe enjoyed a lot our stay at Apartments Gina. Place was great, large balcony with great view to ocean. Fully equipped kitchen, if you want to cook something. Clean pool area. The beach was across the road and it felt like private beach. There are bakery and market nearby. We got a ride from the airport and back. Gina and Petar was so nice and helpful, and the red wine was excellent. We got a ride from the airport and back.

Verified reviewGina was lovely and the bungalow was good for what we needed. We used it for a base and did a good amount of sight seeing. We don't mind walking, but it's 20/25mins by foot to Trogir. But only 5 euros by Uber. If you like boats, there is a abundance of them all around. Can't fault the hospitality 😁
Only downside. My partner used all the hot water one evening. So believe the hot water can sometimes be time limited. But not a massive issue.

Verified reviewGreat seaview on islands and yacht port, nice apartment with big terrace (first floor), nice pool, calm beach with a few free beach umbrellas and sun beds just for the apartment guests, 100 meters to nice small old Seget downtown with restaurants and another beach if you like a bit more people around, taxi boat next to you or 15 min walk to Trogir old town, close to Split airport (which is actually next to Trogir), last but not least warm, open, English speaking family doing all the best to make out stay unforgettable.
From Seget we went to Istria for Scuba diving. The first day on (very nice) camping was a shock for everyone:-). We were simply missing all we had experienced in Appointments Gina.
