Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The location of the apartment was excellent! Easy to find and right in the old town, close to great restaurants. The host left us step by step instruction on how to find the apartment and where we could park our car. The beach was at around 20 mins walk away from it. The apartment had everything we needed.

A/C was a bit weird being in the living room/kitchen but not in the bedroom. Leaving the door to the bedroom open was needed and this was okay. The wifi was weak and did not work well. We had phone plans so not an issue. The water heater worked well some times and not so good other times. Cold water at times and was random. A bit confusing to find the location, but the directions work.
Location was great, could not beat it. Kitchen was good for breakfast as well. Host was responsive. Laundry machine was a bonus to wash clothes and bathing suits. It was very quiet as it was the inner courtyard flat. Slept well.

Only 1 a/c so it’s a but warm in the bedroom.
Very helpful hosts and the apt. Is spacious. Nice to have tv with streaming services!

Really excellent location! Just to have in mind that it's old town where people are enjoying life till midnight and starting to prepare for working day very early in the morning. But even for that additional noice there are solutions.

The bed was not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in but it was fine.
The apartment was bright, clean, and well equipped, and it is located right in the middle of the old town so it was super convenient to get around. AC worked great. The owner was also very helpful and very fast to respond to any questions!

We are thankful to the apartment owners who allowed us to check in earlier as we were drained after night travel by bus. The owner was always promptly answering questions, and easily reached by WhatsApp. On our request for an additional bed sheet, we got it within a few hours. The stay was nice and pleasant.

Only down side is there is no lift and apartment is on the 2nd floor. Z
Very clean, comfortable apartment in the centre of Zadar old town. Host texted details of how to check in and these were easy to follow. We had everything we needed in the apartment.

Arriving late at night you have to walk through streets which felt safe but we missed the entrance. A sign on the street or in the passage way would have helped but is fine in daylight. Host provided pictures which was helpful.
Phoned & messaged with instructions. Small error with wrong key box but was resolved immediately on calling host who answered straight away.

Sometimes the outside noise was rather irritating, but I would call it a minor issue. The situation got better for me after I’d bought earplugs in a nearby store:)

Apartment is located in the middle of Zadar Old town. Airport shuttle bus is circa 5 minutes, nearest supermarket is 2 minutes and you have plenty of restaurants in the streets around. Apartment was fully equipped, being clean and cozy. Large shower bath and powerful AC is a big plus. I would definitely reccomend this one for anybody who is looking for great quality price ratio.

There is a boiler that needs to be turned on 1-2 hours prior to taking a warm shower.
The location was incredible (right in the centre!) and it was easy to find.

Perfect location. Couldn’t be better. There are restaurants, bars and ice cream shops nearby. Grocery shops as well. Everything in the Old Town Zadar is easily accessible including the Sea Organ.
